Just caught up with the MotoGP.
1. I've got doubts Aprilia and more importantly Mav is going to able to sustain this form, but fair dues he's on fire at the moment.
2. Marc must think he's looking in a mirror when he sees Acosta. Now he knows how Rossi felt.
3. Talking of Acosta he's showing up the works riders something fierce.
4. The total number of competitive Ducatis in the field has dropped. For the most of last year you had 7 out of 8 bikes contending at the front, but now the '23 bikes are struggling to make much of an impression. Marc has gone from over-riding a Honda to over-riding a Ducati.
5. On the other hand Peco's place as top Ducati is under greater threat, with Martin carrying his speed from last year and a fully fit Enea as team mate. What's more Marc doesn't care two shits if he knocks off one of the works riders.
6. Good god without Marc, Honda is embarrassingly bad. Universally the 4 slowest bikes in the field by quite some margin. Yamaha is not much better, but at least they are fighting in the mid-field.
Overall early days but I think we're in for a hell of a season.
