They didn't really think enough about the format of this IndyCar thing did they? These first ten laps of the final are just silly.

Catching up on MotoGP and did no-one think to tell the commentator after the first 5 times he made the mistake that if someone is Portuguese they are not "Hose".

And then crashes out the next day clashing with Bagnaia. Wild finish with Maverick crashing out on the last lap.

Yeah, but it works for him, it's not like it was ever going to be a championship yeah and now Pecco knows the score.

Glad to find out Vinales wasn't his fault at least, can you even imagine?

Just dropped an ask in the community feedback thread re: F1 OT.

Feels like a mistake/bug to me because if as a thread things got fucked and deserved moderation then a thread lock is far more likely.

BTW if you have access to WSBK, the Superpole race is one of the most insane races I've seen in a very long time.

That has got to involve several dump trucks full of money.

Or maybe he discovered no-one wants him, Ducati certainly don't need him, KTM don't need him.

So it's Aprilia or (lol) Honda.

Yeah nobody was going to pay as much money as Yamaha and when your only 24-25 years old with a championship you can absolutely take 2 years of high salary and still get a really competitive bike for the new regs in 2027, which might even turn out to be a Yamaha.

You just have to be careful you don't torpedo your value like if we're honest Mir is doing.

Although consistently kicking your teammate in the crotch will help.

Mir has won a grand total of one MotoGP race, he won the championship in 2020, sorry to every champion in every sport but 2020 shouldn't count for anything.

Acosta on the front row with that KTM launch off the line is going to be very fun in the sprint in a few hours.

If nothing else that stops dead the tedious "Has he won his 3 manufacturers" argument.

Marc's clearly going to be win or bin all year and I'm totally here for that.

Just caught up with the MotoGP.

1. I've got doubts Aprilia and more importantly Mav is going to able to sustain this form, but fair dues he's on fire at the moment.
2. Marc must think he's looking in a mirror when he sees Acosta. Now he knows how Rossi felt.
3. Talking of Acosta he's showing up the works riders something fierce.
4. The total number of competitive Ducatis in the field has dropped. For the most of last year you had 7 out of 8 bikes contending at the front, but now the '23 bikes are struggling to make much of an impression. Marc has gone from over-riding a Honda to over-riding a Ducati.
5. On the other hand Peco's place as top Ducati is under greater threat, with Martin carrying his speed from last year and a fully fit Enea as team mate. What's more Marc doesn't care two shits if he knocks off one of the works riders.
6. Good god without Marc, Honda is embarrassingly bad. Universally the 4 slowest bikes in the field by quite some margin. Yamaha is not much better, but at least they are fighting in the mid-field.

Overall early days but I think we're in for a hell of a season.

Yeah, you only have to look at Bez to see Marc is outperforming the 23. Surely they're going to want him on a 25 next year, the only other possibility was KTM and I don't think he's going to want to take on Acosta.

Your last point too. 15 bikes didn't crash and the one surviving Honda still manages to finish 16th.

Damn crazy crash by the Toyota Cars at Nascar's Talladega race just now.

Thank God for the new safety features... that #43 car went into the wall looked like Dale Sr's deadly crash.

Erik Jones is going to be out for a while. That crash broke his back.

Jones was involved in a multi-car accident on Lap 157 during Sunday afternoon's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway and the 27-year-old was checked and released from the track infield care center. He was then transported to UAB University Hospital in Birmingham, Ala., for further evaluation and testing. Jones returned home to North Carolina on Sunday night and met with specialists in the Charlotte area where it was determined that Jones suffered a compression fracture in a lower vertebra.

Roger Penske will just change the rules and give them back the wins, since he owns the league.
Ah yes
