A good spicy chicken sandwich, some tasty fried chicken, or some good ass saucy wings can beat a burger or a steak any day. Who else agrees?

Someone never had a good ribeye steak, oxtail stew or perfectly cooked beef tendon.

I feel sorry for you, OP. I truly do.

Enjoy your cardboard bird I guess.

you don't have to soak/marinade a ribeye for hours and then dredge it in a flavored coating in order to coax good flavor out of it.

The pricepoints are different tiers.

$20 of chicken gets you a lot of chicken

You can pay $200-300 for a good steak.

Nothing in my opinion is better than biting into the fat of a perfect steak.

Low tier chicken is better than low tier beef.

High tier beef is much, much better than high tier chicken.

Chickens and Cows are both better when they're living and not being eaten. <3

When your examples are basically fast food options sure I guess. What's the beef alternative? A Big Mac?

Chicken for normal consumption. Beef for special occasions like burgers and goulash.

Also, pork is probably on average better than either. Beef still hits higher highs though.

I avoid meat for the most part.
Only exception is sushi which is the best food.

I like chicken, but diversity in how it's prepared is key to making it good. Beef is about the diversity of the cut and the cow, which makes it better.

What's insane is that chicken (and turkey) there is little difference between low and high quality. There is a difference, but that gulf is massive when it comes to beef.

I also think low tier beef is better than chicken a little prep.

beef is better than chicken as a general rule, though chicken works better in certain dishes than beef

On the rare occasion I order roast chicken instead of steak at a fancy restaurant and the skin is sweet and crispy and salty I remind myself that when properly executed it's God tier.

Some non-fast food options I'll advocate for: chicken vindaloo, chicken teriyaki, chicken as the protein component of a good bowl of ramen, roast chicken and vegetables. Really good stuff.
