I think the teams from the right bracket should play for third and fourth place while Belgium-France should be the actual final.
Did Harry Kane already swear upon his daughter's life that it's coming home? Otherwise I don't buy it.
england were meant to rue finishing 2nd in that group, because colombia were meant to outskill us. Sweden weren't to be underrated, because they were to out oldschoolengland us with the 4-4-2. And now Croatia are the only thing standing between England and their first world cup final in my lifetime. I'd have taken them as semi final opponents before the start of the tournament to be brutally honest
of course now rakitic and modric will have world class games now and make this post look silly, but they've not featured much in the knockout stages and have more minutes in their legs than England do.

I hope so, honestly apart from winning the penalty shootout I thought the English team is really unimpressive.
Lots of potential for the next few years for sure, but they're not there yet.

Also, I'm English and while I hate my country entirely and everyone in it I hope it does come home just to shut the media up about 1966 and also give a little glory to the best England football team there's been in over 50 years.
As a Cuban American with English roots, I am fully behind England winning it all.

The phrase as used to promote the tournament was about the hosting. The song clearly changed the meaning to it referring to the sport of football coming back to it's home through victory
