Correct. Two, I am not defending anyone here. I'm going on what it is known. Three, I know he and VLADTV are POS. The whole Peep thing bugs me on how he didn't looked out. I am one of the very few here that still crate digs. Music is my job. So Adam was filtering a lot of the Soundcloud stuff I wasn't aware at the time with the whole Florida sound after the RaiderClan left a void. Once again, I am going on what it is known and has been shown. Trust me. If he fabricated those text messages(Which is possible, look at the whole Dwight Howard situation)and those videos where edited than yeah. All of this is very possible due to his character. And the end of the day we can all agree is that the media and public perception is taking sexual assault very seriously.
i can understand the convenience of curation in nowadays when there's so much material to sort through, but i don't get why one would choose adam22 to be that curator. he was a 'prominent member' on b9, a board centered around hardcore, parlayed that into a blog who's whole shtick was 'look at what a scumbag i am' (which is why nothing coming out now surprises me) parlayed the traffic there into the podcast, takes a broad approach to booking lesser known rappers and gets handed the keys by Atlantic. it would be like if you woke up one day and Bobby Roberts was the new head of Lucasfilm. also, those early episodes don't even really have shit to do with rap; he's interviewing aintnobodycool, not skeletor GI Joe or Cadalack Ron. the guy never really gave a shit about rap til he started making money off it - he's no different than any other middle aged A&R at a record label, but he gets a pass cuz he has neck tattoos or whatever. i just think it's incredibly lame to see a bozo like him insert himself into a scene he has no real attachment to and be given a position of power over a bunch of people half his age who are largely from backgrounds he can't relate to and has zero investment in.
i dunno, like i said, i don't blame you for finding the curation appealing, but it's impossible for me. dude sucks
