There are two different ones somewhere in the world. I don't remember where though as I just kind of came across them as I did my thing.
Nope, I definitely didn't do that. I might have to before I retry the fight later.Spoiler tagged just in case someone wants to find it in their own.You can break the ceiling before entering the arena and drop a chandelier on one of them. It permanently removes one from the fight
There are two more to find . One in City of Tears, others in Ancient Basin.

I couldn't remember his name, it was late. My point still stands.

If you think he's bad, just wait until Lost Kin.I think I'm burning out onattempts.Soul Master
Why am I so bad. Why is he so annoying. Thatgets me every single time."fakeout" slam

I beat Lost Kin and Soul Master last night.
Figuring out when and where to heal is like half the battle for me in each boss fight.I beat Lost Kin and Soul Master last night.
Soul Master wasn't that bad. Just gotta remember to double jump when he slams, and the add a dash if he decides to fake you out.
Lost Kin on the other hand...holy shit that dude was a pain. I had the next-to-best Nail and he was just relentless. Finally got some lucky patterns that allowed me to heal in the corner of the room, but sheesh.
Traitor Lord was almost as bad until I realized that I could make him keep dashing into the corner and could just keep pogoing on him. The 2HP damage he did though....whew.
I'm going to complain about my inability to get good at the final boss. I'm venting. It is a wonderful fight in almost every way except for my inability to complete it.
the real final boss, not the first one. First one I can beat almost without losing health. That second one though. Who gives out the ability to move when you recover health? I think that might do it to help me beat this thing.

I upgraded Nail once. Second upgrade asks for Pale Ore but I haven't found any of those yet.Take a break and go explore other areas. Maybe upgrade your weapon if you haven't already.

What the fuck
I beat the Soul Master and put my switch down to dry my hands (first time) and then BOOM it's still going and in my scramble to grab it I died
Unbelievable.
I wanna upgrade my goddamn nail. I did it once.
That is always the best part of these games. Feeling strong as fuck. I'm lacking that.
Hmm, spent maybe an hour and the game still isn't clicking for me. It feels closer to Metroid than Metroidvania, but I'm more of a fan of the latter. Ended up wandering aimlessly until I finally found the cartographer and bought the map (and eventually the compass).
It's insane how many enemies there are in this game.
So many bosses. Totally new enemies everywhere you go.
Makes Metroid seem lazy.

The dynamic of the game has changed quite a bit with the wall bounce.
It was a mistake no big deal.... You're a monster tho.Damn. I got my pure Nail and in my haste to start waving it around I accidentally killed the blacksmith before I could talk to him. Hope I don't miss out on too much because of this.

If there's something I think Hollow Knight lacks a bit, is the feeling of being overpowered, specially at the end. Even when you get visibly stronger, the game will make sure to introduce you new places and powerful enemies to counter that feeling.
I have to keep everything on my toes all the time with this game.
