Hinting at something? 🤔
Probably aiding them with that AAA game.
Housemarque has been struggling recently. Maybe they're finally catching a break.
I would also take another Outland style game :PLet us pray that Sony buys them and they can make more twin stick shooters instead of chasing shitty trends like they are with Stormdivers.

Let me have my dreams, friendStrange
If Sony buys them I bet they still won't make those anymore.
They've said they're working on a AAA game. If they have a deal with Sony, it's probably for that.Let us pray that Sony buys them and they can make more twin stick shooters instead of chasing shitty trends like they are with Stormdivers.
You must not have been around here or the old place for the past couple of years if you don't think people got upset over Bayo 2 or SMT 5People here:

If Housemarque does another Twin Stick shooter, it'll likely just be to get back on their feet. You can tell the studio wants to be seen as something bigger. Which I don't blame them for, they deserve it. Much like Bend did after all that time of making smaller fare for a time until Days Gone.
I have never seen it as bad as how MS or Sony gets it.You must not have been around here or the old place for the past couple of years if you don't think people got upset over Bayo 2 or SMT 5
I'd prefer AA twin-stick shooters tbh.Y'all, imagine an AAA game built around Housemarque's voxel tech running on next gen hardware.

I'm basically suggesting they take that to the next level with a much bigger game.
All types of cube explosions! A world made out of those sweet voxels.

They don't take that stance with all their games, otherwise games like Dreams or The Last Guardian wouldn't be even made.Their games are not system seller don't see why Sony would want them
Not every game needs to be of that caliber, especially when you already have a handful with GoW, Horizon, Uncharted, TLoU, etc. The game just adding diversity to their lineup is just as important tbhTheir games are not system seller don't see why Sony would want them
I thought it was Persona 5The port begging rules were specifically invented because of Bayo 2 lol.
I think you have to look at the long term with studio acquisitions. It is about where they can be years from now rather than where they are at this moment. Think of Naughty Dog pre-Sony and post-Sony. It is all about growth and what role they can play in the lineup.Their games are not system seller don't see why Sony would want them
The thought of it is hyping me up. Just give them the budget and time to go wild with a big world designed with voxels.I can't even imagine what an AAA Housemarque game would look like. We are going to find out though. I'm guessing it will be sci-fi.

I still think Outland is the best title they have put out. Man, I loved that game!
