How Do You Pronounce The X In Anime/Manga Titles Like Hunter x Hunter, Spy X Family, Highschool DXD, etc.?

I've never read or watched any of these and have only seen them referenced, but as a complete outsider I've always read it as the letter X because why wouldn't I?
I used to say "Hunter ecks Hunter" until I learned it wasn't supposed to be pronounced so I stop. I also just say "Spy Family". I don't know about the last one.
the katakana doesn't have the x sound, so it's just "Spy Family".

Yeah, it's explicitly this in the case of these two. Don't know about the third one.
I use to say "Hunter Cross Hunter" but I learned to drop the cross

When I talk about xxxHolic I just drop a massive ellipses before saying "holic". "Oh yeah man I love Clamp's work, my favorite is............" "???" "....holic."
For SpyxFamily, I just say Spy Family. For Hunter x Hunter, I say Hunter cross Hunter. No there's no reasoning to that.
It's ecks. Hunter Ecks Hunter. If you weren't supposed to say the X there wouldn't be an X in there.
This is simply the correct answer. Like I'm pretty sure objectively correct.
But I still pronounce the X as the letter.
