looks fine to me, what were you expecting exactly? Finally played this demo and my jaw just hit the floor
Holy shit it looks awful
The image is so blurry docked I cant even play it
This is getting out of control
Switch Pro needs to come out now
Some people have been saying this, but I guess I'm just not that sensitive to framerate. Finally played this demo and my jaw just hit the floor

I dont notice any issue with the framerate, the low resolution is killing me thoughSome people have been saying this, but I guess I'm just not that sensitive to framerate.
Yeah, they're straight out of BotW. One can spawn in the second mission as well.I finally redid the first level, exploring it thoroughly and that was quite enjoyable, I stumbled upon a little spirit but missed it, so I did the stage again and it only give rupees.

Not a different weapon type exactly, but you can get a boomerang. All it changes though is your basic strong attack though, the rest of the moveset is the sameI wonder if you can get other weapon types for Link in the demo.

Oh my god I just did the second mission and Zelda is SO MUCH FUN. I love how crazy powerful she is and her moveset is so ridiculous and fun.
Like her weak point smash against the guardian she summons a goddamn trolley with Magnesis, freezes it with Stasis and then hits it so many times with Cryonis it rockets into the boss and destroys it. I may have screamed? The movesets are already so creative just based on the 3 characters we can play as, I can't wait to see the rest!
Though I can easily see myself making Zelda my main like in the original game lmao
Yeah it was for pretty much every level that didn't have a strict character requirement :PI found it kinda hard to have a main in the first game, tons of missions required certain characters if you wanted the rank reward.
Although my Link and Sheik ended up
MUCH higher than everyone else, so I must have found a way lol.
I wish boomerangs allowed for more throwing attacks. The one you get is pretty enjoyable on its own—seeing it scores of bokoblins get blasted back from one throw is great. Not a different weapon type exactly, but you can get a boomerang. The problem with the first couple missions in Musou games (especially on anything below the hardest default difficulty) is that it really doesn't properly show off the core gameplay loop. It won't be long before the stages stop being basic point A to point B romps with no threat of failure aside from death.I'd never played a Musou game before so wasn't sure what to expect from this. I loved Breath of the Wild so I was hoping the setting would help to win me over.
It didn't click with me at all. At first it's a novelty to string a few attacks together and send enemies flying, but I felt like I'd had my fill after one mission. I felt pretty bored after that. The performance didn't bother me as much as some but ultimately it didn't matter.

I like the visual nod, but unfortunately those just look like generic generals, and not a real character.
IM SORRY WAIT LEMME ERASE
People have different levels of tolerance for resolution and framerate. To each their own. This is the first Switch game I've played that is such low resolution that it isn't even playable in handheld mode
I honestly dont understand how people are playing this
I was actually enjoying the gameplay quite a bit, but it is just completely unplayable

Also from the looks of things the footage from the embargo lift doesn't seem to demonstrate those issues you've mentioned.yeah, for sure
more power to anyone that is enjoying it, just bummed I cant
I would expect them to stuff in as many BotW cameos as they can.
Speaking of framerate... help a guy understand.People have different levels of tolerance for resolution and framerate. To each their own.
Kind of. Slowdown in old games is a bit different in that the processor of those consoles sometimes could not handle the task of rendering everything in a single frame from a game. So a fail state happens and the frame is rendered again. Thus the game essentially slows down trying to catch up with what needs to be displayed. Not the best explanation, but low framerates have a similar feeling.I would expect them to stuff in as many BotW cameos as they can.

Are we talking about the same thing we (or at least I) used to call "slowdown" or "flicker" back in the day? Remember the old Mega Man games, for instance, when the screen would start flickering and everything started moving slowly? Is that basically what it means for framerate to drop? I notice it, for instance, when the camera starts moving slowly (haven't played AoC demo yet--I meant in other games). Is that low framerate?
So playing a modern game, if it "feels" like the game is suddenly moving slower (again, I notice this mainly with cameras--I'm a freak when it comes to moving the camera around), then that's low framerate? I do notice that, then. But it doesn't tend to bother me very much. Haven't played the AoC demo yet, though, only speaking in general terms here.Kind of. With modern games the process of rendering graphics puts pressure on the consoles CPU and GPU. If the game is trying to render too much that the console cannot handle the amount of frames displayed per second lowers because in can only process so much into the display. Turning the camera on games usually puts strain on consoles because they have to render a brand new image very quickly. So playing a modern game, if it "feels" like the game is suddenly moving slower (again, I notice this mainly with cameras--I'm a freak when it comes to moving the camera around), then that's low framerate? Hmmm, if you need some comparisons, notably if you don't exactly know the difference between a 30 and a 60 FPS framerate, I guess you can take a look at this video comparison between the original Hyrule Warriors Wii U and Switch's versions:Okay. Thank you very much for that explanation. Now I know what everyone's talking about when they go, "Framerate!"
Like I said, I do feel the effects of it when it changes, but it rarely ever bothers me.
