This should obviously have been a Q1 game. Especially so after Far Cry was delayed.
Why are Ubisoft so committed to releasing all their games within like a month of each other?
The title is so generic that it makes me feel like the entire game will have that amount of creative effort into it. That's probably why I haven't bought it yet.
February or some shit. it was gonna be a real fuckin short reveal > release time. especially when the reveal barely had anything to chew onThis (and Watch Dogs) were meant to come out earlier in the year but were both delayed.
Watch Dogs Legion specifically was meant to come out in March. Can't remember when this was due originally.
Maybe people bought it digitally?
Are there any figures what the physical-digital split commonly is in the UK?
Resell ability will be higher. Other than that people aren't that savvy. Why buy the PS5 version when the PS4 version is cheaper and gets you the PS5 version as well anyway?
All games that are available on 4 aswell as 5 cost the same, to avoid people just buying the 4 version. Why buy the PS5 version when the PS4 version is cheaper and gets you the PS5 version as well anyway?

Low key, I play Immortals while my Resin charges.
isn't that the rule for every single game ever released? (except for poor Nintendo)Should be €20 on PC in no time next year. I want to play it when I have time and it's cheap.
If the game is finished why not release it. You just have more time for it to generate sales, and simply deploy marketing funds when appropriate relative to expected and current market conditions. They can lower the price whenever they want to, or not. This isn't like when games were all stocked on limited shelf space.
the title (and the art style) has basically the exact same vibe as the countless generic f2p mobile games you get ads for while playing other f2p mobile games.
I actually think this game looks pretty cool but I'm sorry I am not paying full price for this type of Ubisoft game. It will be $20 in a month.

well, Gods and Monsters wasn't too much better. but somehow they came up with Immortals: Fenyx Rising. give these fuckers a medal
Gods and Monsters was a great title. If anything it was too good of a title for a game as generic as it turned out to be.well, Gods and Monsters wasn't too much better. but somehow they came up with Immortals: Fenyx Rising. give these fuckers a medal

that's even worse, holy shit. what is with this war against punctuation?
I'm getting flashbacks to the time Ubisoft released Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, and Beyond Good & Evil all within about a week of each other...I have no idea why Ubisoft thought releasing 3 open world action adventures games in the span of 5 weeks was a good idea
Considering the actual numbers that are estimated in the PAL thread, the difference between the Switch and PS5 version comes down to a mere hundreds of units. About 600 or so. That's not a really big difference in the end.PS5 having the greater split over Switch is the interesting part here I feel.
Yeah, but consider the difference in user base.Considering the actual numbers that are estimated in the PAL thread, the difference between the Switch and PS5 version comes down to a mere hundreds of units. About 600 or so. That's not a really big difference in the end.
I'm amazed they still haven't released Beyond Good & Evil HD on Switch. didn't it sell best on Gamecube?I'm getting flashbacks to the time Ubisoft released Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, and Beyond Good & Evil all within about a week of each other...
Don't know, but I know my copy is a Gamecube copy.I'm amazed they still haven't released Beyond Good & Evil HD on Switch. didn't it sell best on Gamecube?
That's what I'm doing, so you're spot on!Pretty sure everyone is waiting for a discount. Ubisoft games get big discounts in just couple of months whether it was a day 1 success or not. Especially a new IP like Immortals.
I mean the Switch version probably outsold what the PS4/XboxOne versions sold together as well - consider the difference in user base.
