This is what it's like at the start of every generation. It won't be until 2022 when developers start exclusively working on next generation consoles that you will see their potential.
It means the game won't run at Xbox One settings but higher (basically PC settings)...because the games are inherently backwards compatible on a native level.
Like how One X had One X patches, and the games that didn't ran at Xbox One setting.
If next gen deliver this, with good HDR, 4k and 60 FPS I would be happy.Here are some screens of how actual next-gen games could look like (breathtaking!)
I don't know what I was hoping for but that wasn't any of it. I think I am going just going to build a 1440p gaming computer and be happy.

That was literally exactly what was advertised. A taste of 3rd party games coming to Series X and PS5.
Wasn't expecting much but still more than that lol. Expected at least a teaser for a next-gen only title, i dunno FFXVI, RE8,... or something
I think it shows a lot of promise regarding the variety of games that will be available near the start of the generation.
Hearing Akira's music during the medium trailer was kinda too much of a tease for Silent Hill but the game looks great.
