What's The AppleCare deductible on the rear glass? I am considering just getting a SquareTrade warranty and a good case.

They did update their Photos app. As for the rest, it's because the device has only been available since Friday, and a big corporation isn't going to submit a fix without testing on actual hardware. Then it has to go through Apple testing before the fix can get released, and I'd bet Apple is getting a whole slew of updates that they have to test, slowing the process down. Admittedly, some apps like GMail shouldn't take that much work, but something as complicated as Google Maps could require a lot of work, and then internal testing to make sure they didn't screw something up. Better to take longer to update an app than to release a broken app and have to release a patch.
Doesn't matter, they still couldn't test their code until Friday. Nobody should ever submit an app without testing on actual hardware, and large corporations will rarely ever do so.The human interface guidelines we're out far far before the phone was. Additionally simulator support has been in Xcode. I'm just surprise they haven't gotten things ready yet. I'll wait patiently.
Share them thoHad a crazy sunrise in Seattle this morning and my X took some beautiful photos. Loving this phone!
I'm experiencing the same thing too, anyone know why? Pretty sure I'm signed into everything.Quick question, has anybody had an issue with not getting any push updates after activating your X and restoring from backup? My notifications in settings are on but I haven't gotten any push updates expect for Messages, but I'm still getting them on my 7 Plus (which is connected to WiFi).
Inverted pinch. Is there a way to watch full screen using the YouTube app? Or are we waiting on it to be updated?
It has been updated, you have to use the two finger spread to go full screen. Is there a way to watch full screen using the YouTube app? Or are we waiting on it to be updated?
I think the app was just updated today with X support. Is there a way to watch full screen using the YouTube app? Or are we waiting on it to be updated?
Someone correct if I'm wrong but all rumors indicate a 2018 release for a "edge to edge" iPadDo you guys think the iPad will go the way of the iPhone X in terms to edge to edge screen? Been wanting an iPad lately but might just wait until summer.
Maybe iPad Mini, but I doubt any of the larger ones. Edge to edge screen doesn't make nearly as big a difference on a full size tablet, and comes with extra costs that just aren't needed. What I really want though is an iPad Pro with OLED screen - my new phone has such a beautiful screen, but my iPad Pro is my main computer that I use far more often. Give me a nice 120hz OLED screen on my tablet, and I will buy it in an instant (I've already been resisting temptation to upgrade to the 120hz LCD screen version...)Do you guys think the iPad will go the way of the iPhone X in terms to edge to edge screen? I really would like to see a detailed test but it seems like most professional testers would think it's a waste of time and useless as the results would be obvious.
I had a White 3GS. I think that's part of the reason I like the Silver so much.Yeah the silver X is an exact match to the white 3G/3GS, with the black front, chrome rim, and white back.
My 3GS was black but I remember thinking that if I could choose again I'd go white. In subsequent iPhones I only considered the ones with a black front. I like the display to blend in when off.
Before I got to the end I was like "No, 120hz is better!"Maybe iPad Mini, but I doubt any of the larger ones. I get notifications but only for certain messages. Everything else disappears from the lock screen. Apple support forums says to uncheck show in history for a temporary fix but I don't wanna do that.Quick question, has anybody had an issue with not getting any push updates after activating your X and restoring from backup? Since the preorder thread seems to have disappeared, does anyone have any top secret insider knowledge about the frequency of shipments to Canadian Apple Stores? My preorder is still way out in the distance, and I'm having zero luck finding one in Alberta.
Thank you! This beats just randomly clicking on the phone in the Apple Store app all day.I've been using this trying to grab one. Seems like they get some infrequently throughout the day

Whew. Apple did That. iPhone X getting the best ever photo score in mobile device history.

Note: the X has no white. The back is silver.Yeah the silver X is an exact match to the white 3G/3GS, with the black front, chrome rim, and white back.

Apple made it easy for me to choose silver (white) this time around but I guess from a mix of people being mostly inclined towards it, it resembling sometimes the colorway of some cheap Samsung phones I see around with a chrome plastic (?) rim around and otherwise white back (and front), I thought sticking to the more bespoke, aparently less popular and more discreet SG. Also I liked the real life pictures of it and the way the camera blends.
It's going in a case anyway. I need to stop sweating it.
Oh wow, that sucks. They need to offer customization options until they get the notch tech under the display. Couldn't care less about cell reception or Wifi tbh.I have my first negative about the phone.... :(
They don't have an airpod indicator/Bluetooth indicator in the upper right corner of the screen anymore because it cant fit. This SUCKS because i use airpods all day at work and it is pretty important that I know my headphones are synced before I hit play
You're really splitting hairs here. It's silver by Apple's definition but it looks white in person.

I'm willing to bet 90% of the people that have the silver iPhone X in this thread will say it looks whiteIt looks silver in person, hence my comment. If people think they're getting a phone with a white back, they're not.
Yeah i hear the sound, but one time I lost connection and didn't know it and it played out loud and it was probably the worst possible thing it could have played :(AirPods make a sound when they are synced. Just listen for it.
You can ski see the headphone icon by pulling down the control center.
Yep its still there but you won't notice it at a glance.I assume it'd still be there in the Control Center, as that's where all the other overflow status bar icons are.
It's not silver... it's not even metallic at all. It's white under glass. It looks the same as the 8 which has a white back. I mean, they can look dull if not in direct light, but they aren't silver and don't look silver on the back.It looks silver in person, hence my comment.
