Is Quiet the worst character design this gen?

It's so fucking sleazy it's unreal.
It's a terrible design for FWIW Dahlia literally isn't human, nor is she meant to be. She's an anthropomorphized rabbit... like Lopunny:

Pretty much all the MGS characters have been when it comes to their designs. They're extremely memorable and individualistic.

Yeah, it would be an OK design for an outfit for a fetish party maybe, or porn. I mean, it would be a bit boring even then, considering it's just tiny underwear and ripped tights, it's not exactly innovating in sexiness

I can think of a few that may be worse, but none are featured as prominently or clash as badly with their world as The Quiet. At the very least, The Quiet is a strong candidate for being one of the worst designs ever.

In the case of Quiet, absolutely nothing justifies her design. Especially since her first appearence in the game shes a full blown tacticool elite operative with full body gear.
In my mind theres even a degree of "Putting her in her proper place" going on in Kojimas sick head.
I mean Quiet is bad in terms of how she is presented in the narrative, but at least she doesn't

Sadly Nah dresses fairly respectably and often gets over shadowed by her mother Nowi the "1,000 year old dragon" meme incarnate.

The only saving grace of this abomination compared to Quiet is that, at least, this game doesn't pretend to be realistic, one that operates more or less with the rules of our world and society. It's straight out of a low-level hentai, but they have that one little excuse to work with: it's fantasy. Metal Gear Solid tries to be a slightly sci-fi military espionage story. While they already played with mind control, cloning and cartoonish characters in the past, they still hide behind a somewhat serious Tom Clancy-esque setting that would kinda imply that you shouldn't have a naked chick being naked on the battlefields for lore.

True. I'm not saying the design is great. It'd just be slightly less ridiculous if Kojima hadn't put out that tweet. She even is wearing a full stealth outfit at the beginning of the game that works well.

I never bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2 because of the designs shown in this topic. They're awful. Luckily, Xenoblade Chronicles: DE is coming.
Yeah, everything about this character shows a disturbing level of misogyny. Kojima definitely has some very serious hangups when it comes to women. It is amazing that he is responsible for The Boss, who is largely an excellent character.
The people who stan for The Quiet honestly weird me out a little.
I agree, with should have a thread calling out Kojima's misoginy every month, 3 months is too long.

Don't know if kojima had a hand in designing higgs, but I love his design (death stranding)
When half of the focus and exposure centered on this was ridiculing the obnoxiously sexist design it is definitely not iconic.
