Oh that was rain, I thought it was my neighbor spraying water outside and hitting the cover of my patio lol.
That was also my reaction when I first heard it, though it was my gardeners but then I remembered they only work on Saturdays.
Yeah. Living here since 1989, I can't recall ever getting rain in July.
Having lived in the costal area, it has rained once or twice before but I only remember it in my childhood and teen years so about 10-20 years ago. Usually it'll be a thunderstorm and not just precipitation.
2nd time this month, right? I think it rained for a few hours on the 13th at least in the south bay.
I remember happening once when I was kid because we had tickets to the dodgers game and it got rained out. I don't remember if it was in June or July though lol

I literally washed my car Saturday with the most expensive wash. I just need to wash it everyday and I'll fix the drought I guess.
Just got to Vegas today and it's raining, last thing id expect is rain lol. Hopefully it's just today(not like I love the scorching heat though)

Be afraid. I saw a lot of lightning flashing behind storm clouds in San Diego when I went outside a while ago. They were over the ocean, but seemed close.
If the roof just had roofing paper stapled to it you'd be good. The shittiest timing.

Might want to at least put some tarps on it. Talk to your contractor asap.
Tarps are bullshit. A papered roof is a functionally finished roof. The rest is basically just to protect the paper and for looks. Home Depot is closed now, though.
I guess they're better than nothing.
It's somehow not raining here, though. It looked BAD before.
