It's primarily in danger due to being licensed to LRG. :/

LRG still releases everything they announce. The only exception being the cancelled Sharin no Kuni for Vita, and no one knows what's going on with the other Sekai Project titles that got announced (World End Economica and Narcissu).

I wonder if the Hi-fi Rush physical release is endangered due to the closure of Tango. Would be criminal for that game not to see the light of day physically.

Nah. Microsoft can still get their payment up front and let LRG handle it. Would be nice knowing that any residuals would go to the affected, but that is not how this works sadly.

Sometimes physical releases involve folding patches (and sometimes DLC) into the game in what is effectively a special SKU just for the physical release, which would have required people at Tango to work that out.

I guess we don't know the kind of product limited run will offer but hopefully it's at least complete on disc regarding the need for bug fix patches.

They can have an unpaid intern get that master over to LRG easy peasy.

This one had an update at one point and I forget what that was, but there was some issues working on it.

They announced it June 14th, 2021 and said there'd be more information to come May 19th 2023. So, announced it almost three years ago and said there'd be an update almost a year ago. I'm not adding it to the "they release everything they announce" pile until they at least put it up for order.

Their subreddit account answered a question about it a few months ago with a generic "it's still coming!" So who knows lol

Finally got Radiant Silvergun from a reseller for way more than the original price. Not sure what they did but the back cover is almost unreadable. Such poor printing quality. Also got Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 with alternate cover for a reasonable price. Not gonna bother with the first game looking at the prices. LRG can fuck off for all I care now. Awful business practices.

Seems Hi-Fi Rush is still happening. Probably.

On a slightly unrelated note, I've been hearing adding a shipping box to an order can often hold it back, as it's treated as a separate "item" and placed into a lower priority queue. May explain why I've been waiting 4 months on Beacon Pines, since I added a shipping box to that order. Supposedly someone who works for another Embracer owned company said they received new rules this year stating any orders big enough to require a box are lower priority for shipping than orders that can ship in a standard mailer, so I imagine it may be a similar thing with LRG if that's true.

This is all hearsay I've read elsewhere, nothing concrete, but I can definitely believe it. Still wondering if my purple dot orders will even ship in boxes since they updated their FAQ to pretty much just say "only collector's edition games ship in a box by default". I still remember receiving a game in a bubble mailer several years ago from them and it was utterly crushed, so it'd be nice to not have to deal with something like that again.

If true, that's trash. Their whole audience is collectors. What percentage are going to be happy with just a bubble mailer?

They should really just do boxes by default.

I really don't get why they don't. I don't think boxes are even much more costly to ship than bubble mailers. I'm actually struggling to think of any other limited print game companies I've ordered from that don't send their games in boxes or cardboard envelopes by default, at least based on the ones I've ordered from throughout the years (Red Art Games, Fangamer, Strictly Limited Games, Super Rare Games, etc.).

With LRG, I've only done single-item orders with them twice, and both times the game came in a bubble mailer, so since then I usually try to order at least 2 things at a time from LRG so hopefully they ship it to me in a box. However, it looks like the only way to guarantee a box is to have an order of at least 3 games, since I've had orders of 2 games come in a bubble mailer as well.

Think they have a bit in their FAQ about what is guaranteed to come in a box, and it's just Collectors Editions. Think there use to be a threshold of a certain number of games that guaranteed one as well but not seeing it there now.

Just received Arzette standard edition o/

I was about to preorder Rogue Legacy 2 and probably Lara Croft Collection and I've noticed they've considerably lowered their shipping cost to Europe. I tried to add several games to my cart and apparently shipping now costs $10.09 up to 7 games, and even then after that it only jumps to $13.51.

Before that it was I think around $13 up to 4 games and then it jumped to $18 or something.

I'm still waiting on Beacon Pines to ship and I see it there in the sale...

Think this is the first time I've ever seen recently shipped/now shipping games in the blowout sale that aren't just distro titles.

I wonder if they will add some "secret" games to the sale the day of?

Was kinda hoping for Shantae GBC and ANNO: for Switch. Ship may have sailed on the LRG version of Shantae GBC.

Tempted on the VITA blind Box, Not quite sure where they found those games but we didn't have any Vita for sale last year.

It's interesting to me that SuperDeluxe Games, LRG's joint venture with 8-4 for the Japanese market, has already confirmed a physical version of the Wizardry remake which just came out of early access, but it seems like there's been no word on a physical version for the West yet. I wonder what's up with that.

Probably announce it at a LRG3 like event,

After opening a ticket to ask about Beacon Pines, since I'm still waiting on my copy to ship, but it's listed in the blowout sale, it seems they've actually removed it from the sale now... Though it's still in the Switch blind boxes, lol... Colossal Cave was removed too, though there's still some other "now shipping" games listed in the sale that I know some other people are still waiting on their copies on, like Castlevania Advance Collection, Gargoyles Remastered and Quake 2.

I have to admit that it really doesn't inspire confidence that LRG seemed unaware(?) some of these games haven't all shipped yet, and removed Beacon Pines after I (and a few others on their Discord) pointed it out. I'd like to hope it's an unlikely scenario, but seeing those games in the blowout sale has made me anxious they may be oversold, and people that bought them during their pre-order window but are still waiting for them to ship may either never see their copies, or when they do ship, if they're lost or damaged in transit, there may not be enough copies in retention to replace them.

It's really given me some trust issues with LRG, not gonna lie, lol. I've often had to wait several months for ready/now shipping orders to finally ship, but I've never really felt genuine concern that I may never receive my orders until I saw Beacon Pines in that blowout sale (and it's technically still in it, in the blind boxes).

I hope these are all just baseless concerns, but I've definitely had my confidence shaken nonetheless.

Did they remove stuff from that preview? I looked yesterday and there were things I was interested in that now aren't listed.

I noticed Beacon Pines and Colossal Cave were removed, as mentioned above (former is still in the blind boxes though). Unsure what else, but it was 22 pages before, now it's 21, so it's probably a few things.

Nothing. There's nothing I want in the blowout sale anyway, but with my confidence in LRG shaken recently over the currently shipping games in the blowout sale, and waiting nearly half a year on a currently shipping order to ship at this point... I have to admit I'm not too enthused about ordering from them any more in general (though I still will because I'm a sucker).

Does Limited Run only ship games individually now? Just tried to check out with 3 items, and the only option it gave me was to pay separate shipping for each item.

I actually managed to get in and get an order in that included Radiant Silvergun, so overall I'd say it was a success. The only thing really wanted that I didn't manage to get was the original River City Girls on Switch.

The House in Fata Morgana CE forever remains out of reach, but I did pick up two CEs I'd been thinking about for awhile. I hope folks get something they're after.

Is their website having a seizure?

I think I nearly had one waiting for the page to work! I had to keep looking away from the screen, ow.

You were able to see items on sale? I don't even see that lmao.

You can manually search any games your looking for -- or if you have any direct links to specific pages saved, they work now. It's really frustrating, though.

Busy morning and missed when the blowout started. Looks like Shadow of Adam is still there even if the other couple games I had an eye on aren't so guess I'll just go with that.

How quickly do you all think stuff from this sale will ship if they're already produced? I think last year when I just got three blind boxes, it took like three months to leave their warehouse.

Probably like last year and will take a few months. I'm still waiting for "This Way Madness Lies" which started shipping earlier this month and still nothing. They're so bad at shipping in-stock items, it's crazy.

Is this the longest that blinds have been available on a blowout day?

I mean we all expected the vita blinds to sell out first, and they have.

I wonder if LRG not announcing the breakdown of titles like previous years has anything to do with it (no delineation between common, uncommon and rare titles in the available games)
