idk a lightsaber star wars game sounds like more fun to work on then another cod entry but to each their own.
With everything that has happened in the last year with EA, I'd stick with going back to the tried and true franchise that allows you to keep your job.

Should be noted that Ranon Sarono didn't used to work at the old Infinity Ward. He made quite a name for himself in the Sourcemod community and doing silly reload animation videos before getting hired at Respawn for Titanfall 2

Amazing that they didn't can respawn after they sabotaged TF2 with that terribad release date. It could have been a monster spring game. Iirc, wasn't TF1 like March or something? ROTTR syndrome to go head to head with the biggest multiplats in the industry during holiday windows.

Lucasfilm seems incredibly strict with how their IP is used as well. Just look at Lord and Miller being fired from Solo for making it too comedic.

Infinite warfare was actually pretty good, it just came out at the wrong time. I think IW has improved a lot since the og lawsuits around mw2.
Yeah, there are still a ton of tremendously talented people at Respawn. Though I do wonder why this is happening.
At least Activision doesn't haphazardly shut down studios I guess. Although it sucks for me because I'll never play a Call of Duty again.
It would be absolutely hilarious if Zampella one day leaves Respawn, starts another studio and then signs a publishing deal with Activision.
