I'm not sure why anyone would expect Microsoft to start announcing hardware numbers. Many seem to have tunnel vision when it comes to US sales. Xbox has always been moderately competitive in that region, it's worldwide (65%+ of PlaySations market) where they've struggled.Worldwide i'm sure Xbox one is behind xbox360.
And that is the problem with them hiding numbers. People make Crazy assumptions.
Last year Xbox one sold wolrdwide between 7.5-8 Million consoles.
Worldwide we moved from a two console, to three console, market. Switch moving into a secure second place has reduced Xbox demand and marketshare further across Europe and Asia. The UK market is a best case scenario (by a very considerable margin) for Xbox outside the US, but the continued strength of PlayStation, and rise of Nintendo, is clear to see.
