Next week Switch will be below 50k, that's guarantee. No Pokemon effect and 1 week before Yoshi. I would go even further and say that, with Sekiro, PS4 might sell more than Switch on this week.

Since it always happens the opposite you say, Switch won't just stay above 50k, it will also increase its sales.

It's spring holidays and commercials are running, after all.

Switch will likely be up. Important releases + Thursday being holiday.

If nothing has changed, PS4 5k yen promotion also ends at participating retailers expect Amazon that will last for one additional week.

The worst thing about losing Media Create is that they were punctual, all Wednesdays at 14:00 CET. Now with Famitsu we know they update when they feel like.

Another 10 weeks until Switch passes PS4 in Japan.

I don't think PS4 will reach PS3 LTD numbers in Japan.

Pretty insane that Smash and Splatoon 2 are almost exactly 10k apart. This Smash seems especially popular in Japan, though that might just be the Switch effect.

When Media Create was on holidays and Famitsu updated first, they were always spot on time at Wednesday despite usually updating the following day. Now that they'll remain alone and everyone will wait them I don't think they'll be late anymore.

Switch is less than 200k behind PS4 at Famitsu and 5k yen PS4 promotion ends at the end of March. Lines will cross around Golden Week.

So do we expect Nintendo to show Labo VR next week or what.

Will they just release this without showing people what it is perhaps.

The ultimate shadow drop.

So it is just me or is KH3 having much better legs than expected. I mean they're not Minecraft or Nintendo First Party type of legs but they're still pretty good for a JRPG.

Nah. It increased this week because of the Pierre Taki scandal, just like Judgement. He voices Olaf in it and Square Enix already announced they're replacing his voice.

At least you people remember Destiny Connect. RIP Caligula Overdose. I think it bomb harder than DC.
We did remember it a few times in this thread. :( FuRyu even tried, their current running anime Pastel Memories (that is a flop as well) had several Caligula Overdose ads in the anime itself, but I guess the people who wanted it already got it on PS4.

Sometimes I think FuRyu only makes money through figures.

And Switch receives its first of many 3m sellers on Famitsu.

I would truly like to know what happened with Destiny Connect. To not even chart in the top 30 is a pretty bad performance.

Ah right forgot about that. Though I do remember it having pretty soft drops for the last couple of weeks. I mean it was still in top 20 last week as well and that's good month and a half after it's release. I don't think that's quite usual for a JRPG.

Truly weak of disappointment.

Destiny connect dead.
Caligula switch dead.
13 sentinels early demo sales probably showcase early taste of the upcoming bomba for its full release.
Division 2 declined.
One Piece big big bomba
DMC5 lack of legs after tepid launch.
Samurai Warriors 4 meh number

The only positive thing of Drugs boost sales baby. Judgment getting High Hard.

Also Kirby is close to 750k. POYO.^_^

i think nis just got attached to the idea of a story without any gameplay to back it up. i'm not even sure what they sold the game as. it looks like it should be fun and light, but the trailers use sad music and crying to sell a completely different emotion. and the game has time travel but it's just a standard-ass rpg. with labyrinth of refrain it was the whole package. i can't believe that game actually came from the witch and the hundred knight guy.

i'll also echo that 13 sentinels looks like a bomb in the making. is it just an oxenfree-style adventure game, presumably with fewer choices? it seems crazy that it's not an rpg or there's any action of any kind in it given kamitani's history. i can't imagine atlus/sega are too thrilled to be locked into this one for 4-5 years.

Something with Tony Taka art only sold 3k copies? Is Japan finally getting tired of the recycled faces? I hadn't even heard of Blade Arcs. Is it a spinoff?
