The consistency of Pokemon is amazing in the DS era. Lowest selling mainline game selling 2.6 million just wow.
As said by others, the DS was, indeed, something outstanding. Lots of million sellers, incredible performers like New Super Mario Bros., or both the Brain Training games, and great sellers like the Dragon Quest games (mainline / Joker / remakes), the Final Fantasy III remake, ...so many XD

Yeah, I'm hoping for a fully revamped Red/Blue on Switch. That'd be amazing. I love new Pokémon games as well, but the leap to HD feels like the start of a new era, and it would appeal to lots of casual fans as well and make them buy a Switch. The hardcore fans will buy it anyway, and potential haters can always get their new game a year later.

Of course. They might be 50$ for that reason, but I don't see why they would abandon that succesful model.
HG/SS are the best Pokemon games so it makes sense anyway ;)

At least they let them choose the game lol. If I remember correctly some US retailer (GS?) were forcing bundles with a lot of useless/uninteresting stuff.

In ComG! stores, you had to preorder zelda botw or 1-2 switch if you want preorder a Switch console for the Switch launch.
