Amazing switch HW sales. Can't believe the OG is up this year. If and when it drops in price the sales will be enormous. Next week it will struggle to be up YoY, the smash bump was huge.

Evergreens with incredible bumps as per usual and Pokémon performing really strongly.

PS4 needs a price cut or it's sales will flat like at this point.

Hopefully 13 Sentinels does better overseas. If Vanillaware needs cash there always a certain hybrid console they could port their back catalog to with relative ease and it's audience loves buying JP games, particularly in the west.

LM3 was like the #1 seller on Amazon for the past week. Currently it sold out. It should do extremely well in the west in the period ahead.

We do talk a fair bit about how incredible it is Nintendo managed to introduce the Switch Lite without cannibalizing OG Switch sales even a little bit, and yet I still feel it's not talked about nearly enough. One of the most impressive "second SKU" strategies that I can remember.

Current sales trajectory puts it in the 4m-4.5m in shipments before the end of the year.

To soon to know about 5m. Maybe digital ratio tanked very hard, but the closer it is from 4.5m when we get the Q4 shipments, the more likely it is.

Actually I'm surprised Marvelous hasn't asked for HD ports of Rebirth all over (PS4/PC/Switch). Or maybe they have and Vanillware has been too cozy with Atlus to care? If that's the case I suspect things could be changing soon...

Vanillare should have started building a Switch audience with Dragon's Crown Pro. Maybe even Odin Sphere in 2017. And then in 2019 you release your brand new game as a multiplatform like you used to do with the Vita. Not quite sure why they're ignoring it, it's not like Falcom, they actually have worked with Nintendo in the past. Unless it's Atlus working its single platform magic.

I'm thinking of media create's numbers, but actually Famitsu' numbers make more sense, since those are the numbers we have for Switch. So yes, Switch has outsold PS3, with 10.432.570 for Switch and 10.274.113 for PS3.

At that point, the 3DS started to slow down considerably.

Doesn't seem to be the case yet for the Switch.
