FKA Twigs delivering with knits and diamonds. The crystal patterning on her face and legs are really well done.

Outside of Colman Domingo and maybe Dan Levy, the men's side is throwing some boring ass looks so far.

Elizabeth Debicki pulling off what I'll say is a tough colour. Her light yellow hair, complimentary accessory, and I'm even gonna say the natural green Met Gala decor is really making the colours blend nicely.

Just saw Sabrina Carpenter's look. After a string of successes I guess you gotta flop sometime.

I really don't dig her fashion. It's like an adult doll. :/
That said, I don't mind this dress. Nothing too shocking for Met, but it's prety... Like sexy jazz singer Cinderella or something lol

I'm amazed at how well that color works here, but I worry about seeing it in any other environment lol

Amelia Gray... lol I love it. Matching dress basket florals and lips. The hair looks frustrating but interesting to complete the look haha.

Jazz Charton and Kieran Culkin. I kinda wish she matched, but I love the yellow. But I LOVE the funky art print of Kieran (the matching velvet shoes are fabulous).

I think the funniest thing for me about Met Gala photos is often to people in the background

Taylor Russel's wooden corset is really cool. Sort of feels like costuming for a forest nymph

The über wealthy playing dress up at a gala that's $75,000 per ticket. Now that's something to celebrate!

It's for a good cause though?

Anna Wintour, who is Condé Nast's chief content officer, global editorial director at Vogue and a Met Trustee since 1999, controls the event's guest list. To date, under her leadership the event has raised more than $223.5 million for The Costume Institute, according to The Met.

The charity angle is fair to point out, but it's also for an organization that's preserves literal costumes (as far as I can tell?).

The whole thing rubs me the wrong way, but I'm not judging anyone for digging the fashion/costume piece of it.
Some of the costumes date back hundreds of years and are preserved for historical and educational purposes.

It's essentially a fundraiser for a museum. I get it though.
