How come 1.5.2 needs to be "tracked down"? The main site (I think) has 1.5 but not 1.5.2.
I mean, each game after 1 has invalidated the plot of the last with how more Metroids keep appearing. The Chozo made them, the Space Pirates bred them, and the Galactic Federarion had cloned them. And then there's all the appearances in the spin offs, there hasn't been a Metroid game so far that hasn't had them appear in some form.
It isn't going to be much of a stretch story wise for them to reappear with their creators, especially if the X Parasite will continue to play a role in the story.
I had to go to the AM2R subreddit to get 1.5.2, since pretty much every update from 1.1 onwards has been community driven, given the DMCA.
I feel like Sony has rules for implementing it. like "native ps5 games must use haptics in some way"

Yeah, game is definitely leaking from someone with who got their hands on the game early. Thankfully haven't seen anything super spoilerish or nothing too far off from what we've already seen in trailers. And the person sharing the clips seems so far seems like they're not planning on spoiling too much either. All I'll say is that what I've seen so far looks absolutely incredible.
This being in cutscenes somehow turns be off.
I usually don't hold the controller during those.

Wow, the speedboosting and shinesparking looks really nice in this game. Being able to keep the speed booster charge going after a wall jump is really crazy. I just know there's going to be some crazy shinespark puzzles that use this along side all the other shinespark/speedbooster techniques from ZM.Reddit - Dive into anything

There's going to be some devious puzzles for sure, then. Zero Mission had some wild ass things that you had to ball spark to get.

As a Genesis kid who missed a number of Nintendo games growing up, I played Super Metroid for my very first time last month... blind.
I went into the experience knowing nothing about the game, and I just completed it tonight.
Unbelievable experience.

This game feels like a masterpiece that will elicit similar impressions in 100's of years.
For me, I haven't had many gaming experiences that I'd place above that moment when I'd accumulated the abilities to make it into Ridley's stone mouth entrance.
Feel free to ask me any questions about my playthrough if you're interested. I'm not sure what you guys might be curious about from this blind SM experiment in 2021. Ocarina of Time is my number one game, but this has left me with a post-game feeling that comes close.
