if Russ wants a bigger role he'll have to play in China
if Russ had any semblance of BBIQ and self awareness he'd still have a long career ahead of him as a significant contributor. He's still got a good bit of his athleticism and and is relatively healthy compared to other dudes with his level of mileage.
That's a big loss, especially if Luka's knee is worse than he's leading on.
After the fall and free throws he went back on defense when there was a foul whistle. He went for his shoulder right after reaching out for the ball and I wonder if that made it worse.
Kleber is not a key piece, but still an important role player, oof. Guess the Mavs are not gonna be playing small anymore then.

Poor Lonzo but for his sake at least he got all that sweet cash. Anybody remember Victor Oladipo turning down a max deal… he'd still be getting paid on it by the Pacers. Thank god he turned it down and they traded him out, where he apparently turned down a massive deal from the Rockets. Totally fumbled a massive bag twice! Has to be an all time bag fumble in sports.
The issue for Dallas isn't the pace they play at. It's that OKC is better than them playing fast. They need to find an advantage somehow and I think trying to make the series about half court execution benefits them more then a track meet.
