Totally. I feel like getting locked makes some folks more creative. Some of things they did were pretty damn clever.

I'll be curious to see what your thoughts are after you've finished the season up.On the next-to-last episode of The Society and it's actually pretty good, though there's definitely some dodgy writing. Very bingeable stuff, and it seems to have more on its mind than the usual dystopian YA SF does, even if it's not entirely successful with its more ambitious themes.
also, while I'm glad that there's gay representation,I don't like that the gay romance is introduced abruptly more than halfway through the series, in episode 7. Those two characters had, what, one meaningful interaction in the entire first six episodes?
Was just reading up on The Society as I was considering watching it, it seems like a mixture of an updated version The Tribe combined withFinished the first season of The Society, I have to stop watching these shows until they get a second season I need more of this and Black Summer. Spoiler question for final episode.
During the final scene was that the same dog that went missing earlier in the season? If I'm not mistaken he went missing before since I remember one of the guard saying they missed the dog. If it's the same dog then there is a way back and they aren't intact dead
Yes so much so that I wish it was a CW show so I would know it would be on for at least 3 seasons.Does the Society have that CW feel to it? The premise seems interesting enough.

Jesus Christ I need to spill some words about Easy somewhere. I just need to go off spoiler wise but ya'll need to watch this. Please. Short and so very very sweet.
I can't believe it's the last episodes.....I get way into shows but this is just tough. Fuck I love this show. I love fucking Zazzie Beatz who is like my fucking dream girl and Dave Franco together. Love that whole plotline with him and his brother. I just love characters criss crossing through other peoples episodes. The acting between Kyle and Andi Jesus Christ. That twenty minute segment of dialogue between them was perfectly acted so FUCKING REAL. Like fuck it's real shit and it's just being addressed and acted in such an amazing way. Fucking sophie leaving at the end literally I'm in fucking tears. Maybe because I am a white guy who loves black women and shes amazing as well? Maybe because I've been in those life situations where your in an amazing relationship but something is being chosen over you? The whole dedication to Chicago as a backdrop and it's own character is fucking amazing. I'm just in love with this show Joe Swanberg is a God. This is fucking peak TV. It's just sooooo good. No wasted movement everything is critical to the plot. Even fuck, just introducing new characters like Hugh is so great. Just those little snippets and vingettes is just so incredible. Fuck I'll be dammned this is one of the best shows in the past 10 years no questions asked. Just amazing TV. Literally every story. Some of it about romance some not.

Absolutely obsessed with this show, tragic that it's over and that it didn't receive the recognition it deserved.
My only regret is that there was never a follow up to Controllada which was one of my favorites from S1.
We watched the first episode and are intrigued, very solid in every area and it has a cool mode/atmosphere especially when highlighting the natures of San Francisco. The theme is kind of underexplored and yeah Demi More would've been awesome!Anybody watch What/If?
It's honestly a good show... when it doesn't devolve to soap opera craziness and filming techniques (the first episode was the worst about this) and Renée Zellweger is absolutely awful, was she ever actually a good actress? I read a review that suggested Demi Moore would've been perfect for the role, and the whole time I watched it I imagined Demi in the role and thought, "wow, she would've been perfect."
It does get better as it goes as long as she isn't on screen (Blake Jenner isn't great either but the rest of the cast is good) and when it focuses on the rest of the cast. I've been a Jane Levy fan since her role in Shameless and she was the best part here. Oh and some of the dialogue is crazy cheesy.
I'm so far behind on multiple shows...
new girl
supernatural
flash
arrow
legends of tomorrow
... just to name a few
People are giving this movie way too much credit. They're trying way too hard to be clever by half. It's dumb and rolls out all the action tropes in a "wink, wink" way like everyone's in on the joke.Rim of the World is a great stupid fun movie that rips off so many other movies and ends just as you'd expect.. the kid-actors in the movie are great as well, don't even try to take it seriously just count the movie references it borrows from....

It's just not very good.

My girlfriend has never seen Decent Proposal so it could be interesting to see what we think.
Maybe 😂
Finally finished Babylon Berlin. Great show. Not sure what I want to go to next. I remember seeing a lot of praise for Marcella in here so maybe I'll go with that?
Cool, thanks for the rec! I'll add it to my list.Babylon Berlin was so good.

Dead to Me ending is whack. Wish someone had told me. No interest in another season.
I thought the trailer looked really intriguing, but the first ep had me kind of on the fence. I'm on episode 4 now and think I may throw in the towel. Feels like the characters have the same arguments over and over. How much longer until it ramps up??Anybody watch What/If?
