I don't see them doing a game like EQ3 if they're suffering all of these layoffs. I assume it will be a safe bet using one of their current games and switching it up a little bit.
Not EQ3 in the sense they continue the work they did with EQ Next. Just EQ2 in a new engine with updated graphics, animations, art work, ui improvements, etc. That to me is the safe bet. Maybe go action combat a little bit.

Yeah but this was back with a lot of the old devs and company heads that are now gone. Also before BR changed the game and the direction of the company. It would be neat to see but I was never much of a fan of the shooting in Planetside nor H1Z1.
Going with EQ3. They need money and EQ is their only franchise that can actually bring it in safely.
They just laid off a bunch of people.

I wonder how that's going to work out after how popular Fortnite is and they're joining in pretty late at this point.
It's a new Planetside game called Planetside Arena. Its a 500 player 2-Faction Battle Royale game with potentially up to 1000 players.
Not the new game. There was suppose to be some news specifically for PlanetSide 2. Is that just getting folded into this or something?
It doesn't seem to be much new. I think it was just talking about the new faction, continent, and DX11 improvements.
