You don't want a remake of a Lufia game.
1) Persona 3What is your most-desired 1) Remake, 2) Remaster, and 3) Revival that could theoretically show up in a Direct? Doesn't have to be logical. Go with your heart.

Instead of taking the sake characters and doing the same thing over and over they could introduce some anatgonists
Going from P5 to P3 would be traumatic for a lot of new fans, that game hasn't aged spectacularly well.
My only fear is that the Direct turns out to be real but it's another very small partner showcase.
I won't be heavily affected as it'd just mean to be a little more patient, but man, the doom and gloom following it on the net would be hard to get through.
Wouldn't be such an insult if Square Enix WOULD SIMPLY RELEASE THE ORIGINAL ON MODERN PLATFORMS.
I'm sorry, in the last few weeks I reminded myself that I'm really frustrated because of that.
Lufia II never left the SNES. :(

Yes, Square Enix bought Taito in 2006.
Late, but here's how it'd look if it was actually a FAIR comparison:
Switch has no games tho. Nintendo are doomed.
Please like my post, it took forever to make.
13 is supposed to be our lucky number. Not 14. If we hit 14 before the 28th, we won't get a Direct.
Yeah, sadly. It was a Taito IP, but Square Enix owns them nowadays.
Huh. I didn't know that. What makes me even more sad now is that people never asks Square for a new entry in that series. Let Asano team handle it and get the old Lufia peeps on board ... *wakes up from his dreamland*
And then the sequel, Dark Cloud Returns: OT 13.
Can't find the like button ./s
Nice job putting this together.
Square Enix and its old JRPGs have no pattern whatsoever, it seems totally random.
You can have a mobile port with new ugly sprites, a pc version, suddenly a remake, nothing at all, who knows.
Thanks! I'm sure I missed a bunch of indies too but it was already taking me long enough to put together.
Which ones did you play? I'd say the quality of the franchise typically goes through the roof and falls back down on cold hard stone with each entry. Especially if you count in personal taste. I could barely finish Epic Yarn (though I played on 3DS, should be better on the Wii I heard) but I loved Triple Deluxe and Planet Robot.
Ok, what did I miss? Any dates that have been thrown out there?
Has anyone specifically noted that the 27th is a possibility, or is that just us extrapolating based on time zones/the potentially unlikely nature of a Friday Direct?Everything we're hearing from multiple people points to August 27 or 28.
How did i forget 2020 GOTY Jump Rope Challenge...Late, but here's how it'd look if it was actually a FAIR comparison:

Even if you missed some, I think it offers a much better image of 2020.
Or we can delay OT14.

Offtopic, if I liked SaGa Scarlet which is better SaGa 2 or 3.
Or Lightning Strikes Twice: OT13
Why did the DS have multiple dodgy games from beloved obscure JRPG franchises
