What's the deal with MGS on the GBC.
Is it a retelling of MGS 1 or MG 1 or it's own thing?

Its Japanese name makes it more obvious, just being Metal Gear: Ghost Babel but it's an alternate universe sequel to the original Metal Gear games.
There's quite a few higher profile games releasing in the next few weeks:

I don't think it's actually related to this, but I think Nate said there was a Solid chance of the MGS games coming to Switch at one point in reply to a comment on his YouTube channel.
Kojima was the producer, but it's directed by the guy who did Metal Gear Ac!d, which I would also like on the Switch.
Yea I was thinking deathloop or kena, but maybe Eastward will be the 2021 indie darling. I just really hope Eastward ends up being good.
that's pretty believable, the only thing stopping Konami, I think, is that Kojima's name is on them

Wario Land 4 relaxing? Those timed "go back to the start" parts of the game will keep you on the edge. One of the more difficult Nintendo platformers.

Even so, if people want to play MP Trilogy then they should do so now or whenever. No reason to wait.

No no no you misunderstand. They aren't deciding whether to sell it for $60 or less than that, they're deciding whether to sell it for $60 or each game for $60, so $180 total.

I'm just glad to hear that it sounds like Metroid Prime Trilogy is still coming to Switch. May be awhile still, but I'll gladly wait however long it takes to play again one of the best trilogies in gaming…. And a better version of it to boot!

Amazon is garbage but there's a reason I'm stuck pre-ordering there a lot. They're the only company who has an anywhere near modern online shopping system. Every other online store I've heard horror stories of people changing addresses and having issues. It doesn't mean you will but it's just risky.

Not really, Mario Party and Adavnce wars are both things that will get major pushes in a september direct(like super did in 2018). Heck in '18 Luigi's mansion and Torna were both revealed in that direct. Generally we'll get 2-3 games for anywhere between October and march

Yup yup yup. It's mind-numbing, both the "Sony is bad actually" and also the "Sony is amazing" threads are overwhelming gaming side. There are tons of threads that are pure console warring bait. It's exhausting and more and more I find myself coming straight to this thread to avoid it.
Give it like 4 days and it'll be gone.
