I mean, I'd disagree as new work goes into emulation. This isn't just hardware BC, these are device specific executables with R&D, testing, cert, new ratings and so on going into the release. And Sony's already counting them with Hamster's Arcade Archives, PS2onPS4 games, Japan Studios's PSP "Remasters", tons of collections from Capcom, Konami, SNK, etc. Like it's too late already.Well I don't necessarily agree with that either as to me it's slippery slope situation (especially if there is no retail release) but that is obviously just me. To me game has to be port or remaster to be counted on that platform but if it is just original code being emulated it should be counted to sw sales of that platform (with maybe asterisk)

I'm not sure they're always at full price. I've seen Mario Kart and Animal Crossing and some other games for sale for about £36 on Amazon a few times this year. I haven't checked other game prices but I suspect other first party games would have been available at this price, possibly.Nintendo's evergreen are something for the books. They keep selling and at full price.
PS1 Classics are hardware agnostic but the only real reason they're not counted with PS3 or PSP software totals is because digital only games weren't included in general with those figures back then. On Vita they're actually just BC games though it seems like there's some licensing issues with some titles.Well even with Sony there is a limit.I don't think they count PS1 Classics to any sw figure (PS3, PSP or Vita). I guess we just have to see how Nintendo handles virtual consoles figures in future if they start to count digital only games.
I mean thats the exception to the rule. When talking about full price we usually refer to the MSRP or standard price...doesnt mean that retailers have them never on sales or promotion xDI'm not sure they're always at full price. Kinda weird, huh? Specially since Dring hasn't acknowledge it either. He always says if the charts are going to be late or not.

Deep discounts, most likely. What magic did CDPR use for Cyberpunk2077 to return to Top 10 Retail chart?
Game were selling it for £27.99 the other day when I walked past. I'm assuming that's the reason. What magic did CDPR use for Cyberpunk2077 to return to Top 10 Retail chart?
I mean It's weird, The Big Update was two weeks ago, unless there is WoM or a Commercial Campaign is going on at retailers.
lol, yeah it made sense for those of us that looked at from the bigger picture. And again, people laughed at Sony for showing GTA V first in one of their videos...
