Capcom take a second week at No1 thanks to 'Monster Hunter: World'.

EA debut at No2 with 'EA Sports UFC 3' and this is exactly where 'UFC 2' debuted back in week 11, 2016 - held off the top spot by a second week at No1 for Ubisoft's 'Tom Clancy's The Division' (original 'UFC' debuted at No1 back in week 25, 2014 and this franchise has only ever been available for PS4/Xbox One). Outside of the Top 2 it's again the same 3 titles below with Activision Blizzard's 'Call of Duty: WWII' at No3, EA's 'FIFA18' at No4 and Rockstar/Take 2's 'GTA V' at No5. Bandai Namco's 'Dragon Ball Fighterz' drops from a debut at No2 to No6 this week. Square Enix have the only other new entry this week as 'Dissidia Final Fantasy NT' for PS4 debuts at No9 (5,000). This is the 3rd 'Dissidia' title in the series, with both previous iterations arriving on PSP only – 'Dissidia Final Fantasy' debuted at No10 in week 36, 2009 and 'Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy' debuted at No24 back in week 12, 2011.

Go GTS Go. Fantastic hold. What happened to Forza Motorsport 7, not in top 40 again just like last week. Is it not being bundled anymore?

Genuinely great hold for MHW. Digital is going to be huge as well, I really hope GfK can cut a deal with Sony and Microsoft to get digital sales figures because right now we're missing ~40% of the UK software market.

I think this could end up becoming the most successful Capcom game of all time, 10m+ beckons.

Dissidia released at a bad time. Most of the fighting games community are still hot over heels with DBFZ to notice any other fighters.

Also great to finally love a game that everyone else loves too.MH World is a beast. Already 80hours in.

I wonder what EA Access' impact is on physical sales of games like UFC on XBO?

I say this because there's a generous 10 hour trial on EA Access, and also the guarantee of it hitting the Vault in just 6 months time.

20 PS4 games, 11 Xbox One games, 7 Switch games and just the usual two 3DS games (Pokémon).

This time last year, the Xbox One had more titles in the top forty than it does now, and this only makes me realise that the Switch is having a knock-on effect towards the Xbox One whereas the PlayStation 4 largely remains unchanged.

And good going for Monster Hunter: World! The week-to-week drop is very, very good.

Monster Hunter for Xbox one at #4 during his second week is very impressive.

Disdidia sales seem good.

Forza Horizon 3 probably got a nice bump thanks to the XONEX patch, but it's still pretty crazy to have in the top 40 and Forza 7 outside of it.

Can we expect a similar drop for MHW in Japan as well? Between 40-60% would be pretty good hold I'd imagine

The Inpatient nowhere to be seen, We really do need VR support along with fully fledged games like RE7/Farpoint/Skyrim, Those wave shooters and 1/2 hour experience games aint gonna cut it no more.

46 drop is impressive. Strong word of mouth and continious buzz/steaming (twitch/youtube) with all the right marketing in play is only going to keep long legs and concurrent sales with this thing, and this is not adding the strong digital revenue from said regions. I can this being their number 1 sku at this promising rate, kudos to them!

This is the second week Forza 7 is not charting btw, I wonder if Microsoft will drop it and just focus on the Horizon series.

Probably not, the game had 95% sell through, big drops are expected.

Hopefully Monster Hunter World brings about more third person co-op action games. The space needs more competition and it's a shame that it took until now to get it in the public eye.

Just imagine what sort of numbers a Fight Night would do in the UK with Anthony Joshua as the cover star. I know licensing is an issue, but at this stage I'd be happy with a handful of real fighters, and a fight creator.

User Warned: Trolling - Please do not make these kinds of troll posts in sales threads as they contribute to derailment.
So much concern trolling about Forza 7. Should probably be more concerned about how Gran Turismo Sport is barely outselling a racing game that came out 13 months prior.

Am I doing it right?

70-80% like previous games, maybe bigger since PS4 games tend to have bigger drops than 3DS and Vita games.
Switch games are gonna have enormous legs aren't they?
Yeah, I think MK8, Odyssey and Zelda will stay in the top 40 for at least a year each, MK8 in particular I can see charting until after the Switch successor is released.

Drop it - I don't think so, they need all the exclusives they can get. Make it look and play more like Horizon - very likely.
Of course it won't be dropped.

But I have been surprised how FM7 had more marketing focus than any previous motorsport release (from E3 to launch), but has gone off the radar in terms of events, DLC, bundles etc., after launch. It was the One X showcase, so it's even more surprising. Even now Horizon 3 is the bundled title, which accounts for it's chart position.

GT Sport seems to be ticking along around the 5k-10k mark per week.

It is less than 5k mark especially after knowing Dissidia figures. But Complete EU might be giving it ~15k sales per week. Which is okay

I was looking forward to the inpatient, I loved until dawn and rush of blood, but the bad reviews have turned me off maybe that's had an effect on sales?

It's the second console effect.

If your a PS4 owner, it's an easy second machine, at a time when ordinarily, PS4 owners would be picking up a One S/X, if they have spare cash. I'm sure the Pro also has an effect, as that's once again cash that may have previously gone towards a rival brand to supplement their existing PS4.
