I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with a safe remake. That's one reason I don't like the new convoluted (Imo) elements they're added. I know they want to keep it exciting and people on their toes but I think if the quality is there people would still enjoy it.

Forgot about this thread. I still think everyone is going to win this bet. She will die in one "timeline", and live in the other.

And I think in Part Three they will have to let her die to set things right in some way. Letting her live for the sake of a happy ending would be lame as fuck.
