They disabled zeroing on the red dot, holo, 2x, and 4x in 1.0, while adding iron sights zeroing. With the 4x now you have to try and eyeball it using the hash marks on the reticle.
Oh ok good.hated that mechanic anyway. Still the bullet drop in this game is ridiculous compared to real world guns.

Is there some kind of new cheat out that is for the M16 or something? Every game I've played today and most of yesterday I've died to an M16 shooting a hell of a lot faster then seems possible, just dying before you can even move and of course headshots every time. Kill cam helps somewhat but its so janky at times it hard to actually tell, reason I ask if its something new is because I didn't have this problem a few days ago or even a week ago.
Yeah it's really good for checking out end-game encounters and seeing where people were in the last few circles etc.
It's probably just people using M16 with burst fire and compensator. That's one of my favourite combos for CQC, you can spam it almost as fast as auto-fire and it's pretty damn accurate. It just melts people up close and I seem to get a lot of headshots from it.
So getting your first few crates, are you supposed to just get the same item over and over? I saved up enough to just get my third crate.

Kept getting fucked over by rng tonight. My squad and I couldn't find weapons while everyone around me manages to find rifles. There's always tomorrow night.
I've not lost any points but I've had my stats reset for no apparent reason including 4 top 10 finishes.
As stated above, from the kill cam menu. Reported my first player last night, there was no way I could be seen nor heard but he tracked me down like a homing missile.
Also, I've been on the receiving end of some horrendous lag compensation. Point blank shotgun to the face registered on my end but their kill cam feed shows I didn't even get the shot off.

There's not much to get gameplay-wise but it took me a few matches to understand the ring blue thing,no idea what the red zone is though.
It's not hard but they could explain what these things are tbh.
My first match was boring was hell though,kinda bs that i have to spend coins to redo my character's appearance too.

PUBG with the mechanics of MGSV would be sensational, but most things would be. Imagine finding gadgets around the map, nothing overpowered, but decoy dummies and little traps so you can fuck with people.
You'll catch on to how the zones and stuff go. Personally I also realised it's easy to have a dull match by skirting around in the wastelands, so sometimes you should just go full Rambo or Mad Max to get that but of variety in your life.
Feels incredible to be in the top 1000 in Squad FPP. 30 percent win rate!

I keep defaulting to the AS server after a reboot despite being in the US and not using a VPN. I have to set it to NA.

Too many rusted cars by roadside. Again, confusing. Also too many rusted cars in general on this map. Its ridiculous.
And the vehicles that spawn are really muted in color, blending in the background. The jeep is brown, the bangbus is kinda dull in color etc. Nothing really stands out.

I could reliably find an AR in a reasonable time in all kinds of areas on the old map, but with the new map, you can't expect to find any AR if you arent dropping into the hot zones.
Im also so damn tired of these map sizes. I enjoy the first map. But I cant believe they opted to make an even bigger map instead of something much more smaller, yet vertical. A map that has the action of Fortnite would make this game so much more enjoyable for me.

I finds weapon quickly on the new map . I think that they increased the loot rate .

Just gotta figure out what buildings are best to loot on the new map. Just like on the old map there's a lot of buildings that aren't really worth the time it takes to go through them.
In terms of how fast paced the game is on the new map, I don't really notice that much of a difference. There's some action early game, a lul in the middle and it ramps up toward the end. I think the biggest difference is that there aren't really any spots that stick out as quick deathmatch locations like the school or military base on the old map.

Yep, so far I like the casino and surrounding buildings at Pecado, even if they can be a shitfight upon landing.
Still searching for the Mylta Power equivalent on the new map though...
A Kar, a scope, a skyscraper, and a circle closing in on Los Leonos is a wonderful thing. Getting better with my sniping now that I have more than just a window to pop off at people, increasing the chances to sight a target long-range on this new map.

Is performance still garbage? Like landing with nothing loaded in, the game being smooth until you see a person and it turns into a stutter fest, having to run on low settings with good specs to get 60fps etc.
I've only played 4 games on 1.0 so far, but it feels like the aiming/hitboxes has been improved. I play Overwatch a lot and consider myself pretty good at aiming in FPS games and PUBG was always a struggle. It feels a lot better. I have also been getting more kills per game than usual. I just had 5 on a Miramar match. Maybe its placebo or something, but it feel better to me and I was a big critic of it before.
Is there some reason that most of the time when I watch my death cams, it looks like they're shooting behind me? Is this just network latency or are they actually doing this and it's working somehow?

Agree. Feels like they increased loot but added more bullshit obstacles to get to it. I get sick of going through doors REAL quick on the new map. Especially those new fucking double doors.
Until the network lagging that's at the start for at least the first five minutes which makes the game pretty much impossible to play is actually fixed our group just drops doing stupid shit. Can't reliably co-ordinate when you try to move and get teleported back six feet.
Keep getting "error" at the start screen to choose wardrobe - been starting every game naked...wtf?
OMG I just came in second in a squad game, when all of my squad died within the first 2 minutes. I ended up getting in a jeep and just checking a couple smaller spots in the desert. Ended up choosing a good one and the circle kept closing in on it. I was upstairs in the bathroom looking out the windows, when I had an idea. I dropped a first aid and an energy drink just inside the door so when someone came in, they would go for them. I head some guys coming(5 left) and jumped in the bathtub and hid behind the shower curtain. 2 guys start looting the place, and then I hear the bathroom door open. They go for the healing items, and I spring out and light their shit up! AKM on Auto. Both go down, so I throw a molotov at them to finish them off as the third guy comes upstairs to kill me. He can't get past the fire, and assumed I jumped out the bathroom window. Instead I wait for it to burn out and head out of the bathroom and out another window. I creep around the house and waste him too! Then I head up the hill to the last circle, and their 4th guy picks me off. So close! I know my new strat now, just leave healing items as bait and hide in the shower like a bitch.
