The game for many of us has a worse framerate (parachuting aside) than it did at launch. For weeks I had barely any noticeable dips, hit detection issues or crashes, now they happen more. Plus the annoying shit like audio glitches and settings. The fact it's Game Preview can't be a blanket to cover all of the game's faults, especially if most were literally introduced post-launch. I'm invested in the game, I still play it almost every week, but on my X the game is not in a good shape. Elite, performance-wise, was great when it launched in Game Preview. ARK was a mess. The former became incredibly stable and reliable for the full release, ARK remained janky for 1.0. This being a competitive shooter for now I'd settle with a lowish (24-30fps) framerate as long as it's stable. It's pointless when I can run around at 30fps but firefights or crowded areas go to 15fps or below. It's funny how the mobile version runs smoother.
We all signed for a Game Preview, we expected jank. I personally hoped the game would become smoother throughout the months, not more problematic. While they fixed issues with cars and such, shooting is still inconsequential, and it is literally the only shooter (arcade or realistic) that I play where it's a total lottery: either the enemy (or me) goes down in a second, or we'll be shooting at each other point blank for half an hour because lag and hit detection are like that. Matches I can snipe from a hundred meters, others where I can't kill a guy point blank with a shotgun. That's all, really.
