Reviewers have never been particularly soft on Pokemon games, even if they don't especially care about the features cut there does seem to be a lot of disappointment in the wider audience with the lack of invention, limited open world space and below par graphics for a HD title along with the increased price. It'd surprise me if it was scoring close to the 3DS games.
But that's the thing. You know people can like LGPE without being a GF apologist? I thought it was fine, really, for what it set out to be.
From the game that put in a couch-sized Wailord while cutting 500 normal-sized Pokemon, I'm not expecting much creativity when hiding the seams.
The fact that both stations exists as is in game is both hilarious and depressing.This verifies these are two different stations and not a detail update as people were suggesting:

The thing is, even fan backlash likely won't do much, when the game reviews like usual and sells like usual (as will inevitably happen). Game Freak has proven time and time again that fan feedback isn't something they particularly concern themselves with.
when a poster make money from an IP and has things like product reveals on their website... Of course people are going to act like their opinions are suspect.

Yeah and that's fine, I like some things about let's go as well but the discussion around it was the issue anytime we discussed issues around let's go and what could happen with pokemon, it was dismissed that wait for sword and shield and those exact same posters are now dismissing criticism as people upset about national dex and basically anyone negative doesn't matter.
well it's not the making money that's the issue, it's how they have treated any of the criticism.
