It's a bit repetitive but once the combat flow clicks it's a flawed but cool game.
SE said that's a remastered port and not using the emulator but it's still using the same emulator menu/options like save states/rewind.If Square Enix is using the PSP emulator to sell games like Valkyrie Profile then I hope they will consider doing it for Dissidia. It's the one PSP series I want BADLY
Looks like emulation to me. What are you seeing that seems like a port?SE said that's a remastered port and not using the emulator but it's still using the same emulator menu/options like save states/rewind.
If it was just emulating the PSP version than the game would not look as good as it does in the reviews released today.

I think all games have to have some kind of price "behind the scenes". I remember multiple times when PlayStation Now games accidentally showed up in the store with a price on them (usually some ridiculously high price) and each time, people took that as a sign that Sony were preparing to sell PS3 games on PS4 via PlayStation Now, and nothing ever came of that. Or just recently Tekken 2 had a temporarily-visible price of US$9999.00. I don't think the existence of a price tells us anything about how likely the game is to ever be sold separately.
We might be able to say something with confidence earlier than that - Tekken 2 appeared in (late) May as part of the launch of the service in Asia. So if that becomes available for purchase in May/June, then I think that's a reasonable indication of how other Namco games on the service will (probably) work.Yep it's possible that it could just be that. Ridge Racer has both the main SKU at £15.99 (but restricted by the PS+ exclusivity), and the streaming SKU listed at cool £10,000. I thought it seemed like a more thoughtful price than just a generic put anything in just to get it through the system, but I guess we'll see in a year or so if the exclusivity runs out.
Huh? You mean one year before PS1/PSP classics can be bought separately? 🤔 Kinda weird if true.Don't quote me on this but I've heard the exclusivity is 1 year (for the titles you can't currently buy).
Guess we'll see soon enough
Not seeing Ridge Racer up in the U.S. yet. What time do the new titles usually get added?
Yeah I downloaded it and played 3 races earlier. I assumed they would have it in the classic section but apparently not. Still a great game and I miss the Ridge Racer series. I even bought the arcade 1up version recently but I have not put it together yet.
So, uh, what exactly is the file size for Abe's Exxodus, out of curiosity? The store page says 9GB, which is a bit high for a PS1 game. I know that the actual size is probably 4.5GB or so since the PS Store usually combines the file sizes for PS4&PS5 games because of course it does, but even that is absurd.
Seems to be a pretty easy Platinum. Checked it out and got a few trophies without much trouble.Pinball Heroes has trophy support according to PSN Profiles. Not exactly a strong start for the first PSP game to have trophies.
It's 3.96GB on PS5. It contains the 5x PAL versions and 1x NTSC version, and being a two disc game this is the reason it's the size that it is.
That gives me hope that Sony may be sitting on Dino Crisis as wellIt looks like Ridge Racer 2 is using an older version of the PSP emulator than what Pinball Hereos is using.
I noticed that Pinball Heroes no longer has the Aspect Ratio options in the emulator settings. This has been replaced with an Overscan option allowing you to shrink the overall output. Also the Retro Classic Visual Presets no longer attempts to apply scan lines to the image.
Both seem like good changes given having those options never really made any sense, but I wonder why Ridge Racer 2 hasn't released using this latest version. It does suggest they may have been sitting on it for a while for whatever reason.
Did they actually use any kind of worthwhile compression? I don't recall many noticeable size differences for those games on PSP/PS3, other than the games where they replaced CD audio files with MP3s.I know Sony had great compression tech back on the PS1 on PS3/PSP days, so hopefully they're still using something similar. But it won't save us for stuff with lots of video files.
Oh they're definitely sitting on Dino Crisis. It's really just a question of when, and I guess at this point also a question of why. That gives me hope that Sony may be sitting on Dino Crisis as well

It takes from wallet funds first before your other payment methods like debit/credit card or PayPal.Strange question to ask, here: if I buy PS+ with money in my PSN Wallet, will it default/ask me if I want to apply the wallet funds first prior to credit card/PayPal? Thinking about grabbing a $100 PSN gift card on Target that comes with an additional $10 Target gift card to pay for PS+ Extra, but I have to redeem via website as I won't have access to my PS5 until the middle of next month.
Perfect - I knew it worked that way on console but wasn't sure about website - thanks! It takes from wallet funds first before your other payment methods like debit/credit card or PayPal.
Works that way from the console, website and PS app so if you can't access the website or the app is more convenient you can do it there as well after logging into your account.Perfect - I knew it worked that way on console but wasn't sure about website - thanks!
Couldn't see it posted but these games will be leaving in about a month:
