I yearn for the times when TLOU2 has a release date but those days are gone.
Individually moving Netflix etc has not been an option.
But can we now? Just updated and I can't put individual apps on folders. No option when I select the individual app and they are disabled from the folder selection.
I've been getting issues lately with the screen going black when I wake it from rest mode. I wonder if this addresses that.
You could not move it outside of that stupid app, drives me nuts. I just want Hulu and Netflix outside of that garbage lol
Same here. I thought I had to reinstall the update since so many here were claiming it is possible.
Yep, Sony continues to be awful. There's absolutely no reason to not allow us to put them into their own folders like we do with games.
just turned on my ps4 yesterday for the 1st time in years and had to update, now I have to download another update the next day lol.
They aren't even adding avatars to the store anymore, it really feels like the PS4 is on the way out.
I don't know what some of you were on about, the TV & Movies app is well over a year old and move all the media apps into it, you could never move them out before. It has been TV & Movie for a long time. This update was just a stability update.
People reported in the beta you could move them IIRC.
Strange, I have been on the beta and didn't notice that feature.
I did notice that you can over over the media apps shortcut and ADD THAT to a folder, but not individual media apps.

This gif never fails to make me smile and then laugh because I always forget the car explodes for no reason.
Same thing happened to me until I went to the store and it prompted me a new privacy setting for my account. After that everything worked out.
Is this a joke post? Been able to do that for years. I've got a folder literally named 'useless app' that all the stuff I don't use sits in.
Please for the love of all that is holy let me stop using the TV app, give me the apps back on the home screen
You have not been able to put Netflix, Hulu, etc etc into whatever folders you wanted. That is what people are referring to.
What you could do in the beta was move the TV & Movies icon into a folder, not the individual apps from inside it like Netflix or Hulu. I don't know if that's a new feature or not, but I was in the beta and tried both once the rumor spread. All I know is that moving the TV & Movies icon into a folder is completely useless.
Update seems fine for me so far.

I don't want to start up the TV&Movies thing since I'm convinced it slows down the UI (it seems to load up a web app much like the Store, and that always makes the system chug for me). I've been going to Library and starting them there (partially out of spite) but even that can be slow since you have to hit start on the app a few times before the UI catches up and realizes what you're doing.
(Good god I don't care how many teraflops the PS5 has, just give me a quick, lagless UI)
For anyone with a PS Camera, another workaround is to just start the apps via voice, as it's quicker than going to Library. Well, assuming the PS4 actually realizes what you're asking. I swear at it a lot.

They really don't come out that often, watching my bf boot up his XB1 is an ordeal, that thing is constant updates.
I'm always scared it'll brick. These updates are scary.

Thanks for the concern. I was able to fix it rather pain free by going into safe mode. But it was scary for about 30 minutes lol.
After i went to the store on my ps4 i always press the 'log out of ps4' and then i login again. It always makes my UI quick again.
