I'm far from being an expert on the matter, but DLSS is a lot more advanced than the upscalers found in TVs and it needs dedicated hw (Tensor cores) so it's adoptation for consoles is unlikely.

With gaming events being canceled left and right, world economies beginning to crumble (ie: see stock market numbers for past week), coronavirus taking a hold of most continents (will spread everywhere)... this is going to be a long and rough year or years moving forward.
I don't think it's a stretch to see next gen consoles getting delayed into 2021. I hope not and I hope that they can develop a vaccine for the virus. Even though the death rate seems similar to regular influenza, it would be nice to fight it off.

Did you consult with all the devs that make their in-game text too small when you designed these charts? :)As we discuss chip revisions and steppings those are the die sizes that are likely if Sony has more CUs. As it looks like BC is based on disabling a full SE. The assumption below is to add more CUs you have to add another SE. If you add another SE it would be of advantage to add the same number of CUs as you already have in the other two SEs.
The calculation is based on what was measured from a 5700XT, a Zen 2 8C/16T core CCX, and an 8% uplift for RT per CU.
That would be a bigger chip than for example this (my expectation for XSX):
How did you read the E0?
I thought 13E9 was Ariel and 13F9 was Oberon. The APU were/are Gonzalo(Ariel iGPU) /Flute (oberon iGPU)

I'm sorry if this is a topic that has already been covered but surely with this level of disruption from Corona virus there has to be a massive impact to Chinese manufacture of basically what I would assume is most of the components found at multiple levels of the hardware, especially next gen systems. Is it fair to assume that Microsoft and Sony may have not produced large volume of manufactured final units yet. Did Albert Penello ever mention roughly how long before an approximate holiday launch of next gen systems they would likely be in full manufacture mode? I wonder if both companies may have to re assess whatever marketing strategy timelines they have based off this. Especially as Sony have not announced final specs, I assume the order of features, price and date announcements are very carefully considered against one another and may impact the other marketing campaign.

Sony clearly has a weaker console, gets caught at the prospect of having to go against a beastly 12tf machine, so they scrap everything, blow their remaining budget on bio engineering the Corona virus so they can stall the entire industry while they scramble to make 3 extra Tf pop out of thin air.

Some pastebin that told sony would announce the PS5 reveal date today (in 1 hour and 54 minutes).
Most likely fake but the godfall guys just said they'll be showing more of the game "really really soon". So who knows.
There was pastebin few days back mentioning Sony will announce the conference date on 27th 2PM PST and full reveal early march, I guess it was March 3 or 4.

full on canceling the appearance is an overreaction as has been proven by those that have decided to not attend but are holding web based events. This is the last I will discuss the matter here as Transistor has said it is not the place and I don't want to derail the thread.
... I would be happy if all we got was a countdown... to... March 3rd. But getting confirmation of something PS5 related would blow my mind. Anticipation is killing me, hope it isn't for nothing...
