Hmm, thinking about it that way, that Travis badmouths future to Kylie could be the way to view it.

Saying the Pulitze winner switched up on Drake. Which is true since Drake and Kendrick was sorta close. Then Kendrick stopped messing with Drake and never fooled with him again.
Aight that must be it, just the way it was presented with the dyed denim bar sounded kinda antagonistic

Were they close or did they just have a mutually beneficial business arrangement? Like Ross says on his song, they gave him "face" and he widened their audience.

I mean there was really no mutual business reason for Drake to embrace Kendrick imo. Drake was already "stamped" by wayne/baby at the time. Kdot wasnt in a position to where he could really help out Drake street wise or nothing like a Future.

Adding the ASAP vid to show that some are more close behind the scenes past the business stuff.

It generally benefits established artists to align themselves with new artists with as momentum as strong as Kendrick's was—especially in a genre as controlled by trends as hip hop—and there was plenty of unshared ground across Young Money/Drake and Kendrick. The latter is where all the "saviour of hip hop" crowd went, the hip hop heads, the champions of the west coast style (remember when all those rappers coronated him?), and yes the street cred.

I know about the wave hopping. Kendrick and Drake seemed more than that, especially with the tweet I posted above where Drake calls Kendrick and ASAP his brothers. A more business type deal seemed like what he tried to do with Weeknd. Drake and Kdot seems to have fell out after the control verse.

Funny how everyone was saying that the fact we can't figure out if the Drake diss was AI (the real diss) says a lot about his music and now the same thing is happening with Kendrick.

This AI shit is wack as hell. I just want us to enjoy the tracks and not worry if it's real or not.

Drake also put on the migos, that Versace remix was heat and a huge song for them.

People minds are already made up about who they like.

Replay value of Push Ups is kinda wild...didnt expect this when it first dropped.
You take it for granted but him pretty much adressing all dudes in one track is impressive. Probably the only person in the game that could do it without killing their career asap.

Come on Kendrick, show us what you been saving for the grand finale.

Seems like Drake is confident and got lot of ammo for this beef.
Once Kenny releases his response, it's on.

When Drake releases his diss then we can do a countdown for a Kendrick response.
You can't go from sneak dissing to sneaking a diss out and expect that to be the cannon fired

Between this and the Whoo Kid join, you can feel that Drake was following 50 and how he was moving during beefs closely lol.

nah. dave free is his creative partner. Anthony Saleh is his manager
