I hope so, I can only judge from videos right now. I really hope there is a demo at some point, but I imagine if we do get one it won't be until December or something.Huber Said the game is Very heavy, and running IS Very slow compared to 4

hopefully not riot gas filling the hallways lolSo seems they're adding resident evil outbreak stuff, makes sense because it was happening at the same moment.
Did you even play Resident "walk in a straight line between setpieces" Evil 6? What little footage in that bit we played looks nothing like the RE6 I playedA lot of it does look incredible, but there's also a lot that pretty much looks like a neutered RE6 as well as the parts of RE7 that I didn't like.
If you are sensitive to tank controls and want the 3D option that REmake HD and RE:0 HD had you could hunt down RE2 for N64, it has that 3D option in the controls.Whats the best version of origibal RE2? I wanna play that before I get this. Would I be good with the version on PS1 on psn?
Got to be a trophy.Just a random thought, but due to being able to shoot clothing and skin off enemies, I am placing my bets you can shoot off Mr. X's fedora.

Well shoot, was so busy focusing on Record of Events going out of the way constantly from avoiding the word that I forgot to double check the cutdown Operation Report. Thanks for pointing it out.
The Dreamcast version for Hard mode, though the controller can be difficult to use. I find myself inadvertently making sharp turns while pressing up on the dpad from time to time .Whats the best version of origibal RE2? I wanna play that before I get this. It probably won't start with that exact text since the game starts at a different point. For the record, Leon's campaign starts at a Gas Station and the Pitstop Store by the Gas Station, while Claire's campaign starts at a Diner (I think for Claire, know for Leon). They actually meet up after their beginnings, and then get separated. Since RE2's whole opening CG stuff is now essentially a playable and expanded gameplay sequence, that exact text may not pop up right at the start.

Not directly related to your quote but do you think this game has any chance of its release date being pushed ahead? I really don't want Kingdom Hearts 3 getting in the way of this game selling well. I get that they appeal to different crowds but literally everyone I know wants both games...
and DMC5. It's insane how good this engine looks. This looks amazing. So excited for this.
RE Engine is low key one of the best engines out there, both RE7 and this look just incredible.
Agreed, this is how you do a reveal. This is EASILY the game of the show.
- Something that wasn't even guaranteed to happen at this year's E3
- Announcement Trailer
- Trailer was actually stunning
- Trailer ended with A RELEASE DATE (which isn't insanely far off)
- A Playable demo was ready for E3
... All of this... in ONE.
That is something that a publisher does when they are extremely confident in their game. The game is reportedly done and has 6 or so months of polish before release.
That is absolutely insane. GOTS!
All we need now DD2.Man, with Mega Man 11, Devil May Cry 5 And Resident Evil 2 Capcom must be like...
Resident Evil 2 looks fantastic BTW, really can't wait to play it.
Target audiences are waaaaay too different for it to matter, also, since RE2 is so horror focused it'll be clearly not aiming for astronomic levels of sales... i don't think neither of them should be worried, diehard fans of horror RE simple won't sleep on this title and fans of disney will simply jump on KH, fans of both like me will go poor, but happy D:Well, I hope they'll definitely consider it once again. I've waited too long for this and I'd hate for it to not sell as well as Capcom would like because they're placing it right next to Kingdom Hearts 3. I think moving it to December would be a lot safer. If the game really is complete for the most part and it's just polishing for the next six months until release then I hope they end up finishing their work sooner than they expect, but I don't know how much work is involved in polishing a game like this after it's complete.
Mega Man X9, Final Fight 4, and Breath Of Fire 7 first.
I was extremely excited when I heard this was coming out, but now, after seeing the demos, I couldn't be more disappointed. Exploring the Police Station in a completely 3D space feels...weird. It's like playing an Outbreak game instead of the "real" games. The fact they went with an OTS camera, plus adding a bunch of cinemas that weren't completely necessary, makes this feel like something different altogether. And no A/B scenarios? C'mon, Capcom!
Also, what the hell happened to the fantastic soundtrack from RE2? Completely gone?!
RE2 looks absolutely great on Vita, IMO it's the best way to play it right now.If you are sensitive to tank controls and want the 3D option that REmake HD and RE:0 HD had you could hunt down RE2 for N64, it has that 3D option in the controls.
Anyhow though: RE2 looks real rough on HDTVs, I'd wager to say you should play it old school on a CRT Tv with one of the old consoles!
No I caught that too, sounds very situational but great all the same.During the demo last night, last night for me that is, did anyone else catch the host or one of the developers present saying you can board up stuff? Like windows, to prevent zombies from getting in.
Emulators with CRT filters is likely a better idea so no one has to lug out an old CRT (if they even have one) or have yet another console hooked up in their room.If you are sensitive to tank controls and want the 3D option that REmake HD and RE:0 HD had you could hunt down RE2 for N64, it has that 3D option in the controls.

It looked it to me, RE7 (which this is clearly based off) also ran at 60 fps so it's a reasonable expectation.
That's true, the small screen helps the game look less rough.RE2 looks absolutely great on Vita, IMO it's the best way to play it right now.
Yeah, I'm a eager retrogamer so I have one. You can also use upscalers with scanlines (Framemeister, OSSC etc.), but these are fairly pricy. An emulator is probably the way to go, or a PSVita like mentioned above.Emulators with CRT filters is likely a better idea so no one has to lug out an old CRT (if they even have one) or have yet another console hooked up in their room.
