Have the writers ever done an AMA?
Feels like they trolling us with the idiocy that happens in every fucking episode.

Oh shit, I've been meaning to watch that.Unrelated endorsement, Dare Me is a very good teen show. Great acting and boldly shot. It is as visually ambitious as this show used to be.
Uh so i caught up with everything and did anyone else find the tickling stuff and video taping that asshole rich dude really fucked up?
Also the build up to the murder seems like even more of a fake out
They just left it for now but now that frat boy has a bunch of videotapes of stuff so? But I bet they bet their audio is too stupid to make that connection. Also, how did the house video tape sub arc end up again? For some reason i cant remember the story
I stopped watching Riverdale midway through the episode with the school counselor in the current season.
The break was supposed to be temporary, but now that the episode backlog became quite long, I feel like I'm not coming back.
That said, skimming through this thread made me read the remaining episode summaries on wikipedia and I was in shock how chaotic it all feels. Good old Riverdale.
Okey. See you next seasonThis will certanly be the last season I watch, am beginning to feel what "hatewatching" means now.
Yeah the weirdest plot point to me is Charles is supposed to be a bad guy yet he's helping Betty? Unless maybe that his vendetta against her is so big he doesn't want someone else messing with her, or is just going for the long long con and will end up behind it all somehow. They just left it for now but now that frat boy has a bunch of videotapes of stuff so? They also dropped the plotline of Betty's brother having a gay relationship and plotting with the guy who pretended to be Betty's brother.

Also everyone was acting way too casual about Jughead being dead. I mean I know he isn't really dead but everybody couldn't possibly be in on it. Give me some of that Fred Andrews grief from someone damn.
Yeah, anything is possible, but if he's dead then the writing is really, really off and not just Riverdale off, because the characters seem like "Hmm oh Jughead is dead? Oh well!" Even a step further, "Whoa maybe Betty did it, no biggie!"At this point Jughead is body shown on a slab dead and Skeet Ulrich is confirmed for not returning next season. I'm not discounting the possibility that they are actually killing Jughead. Riverdale feels like the kind of show where that kind of Vince Russo-esqe swerve is done to just teach the audience a lesson about guessing what is going to happen and maybe they feel they need a large change going into next season being post high school. Desperate Housewives was narrated for years by a dead character. Conceivably, Riverdale could do the same.
Also the 'In Treatment' bottle episode was the best work they've done all season.
I doubt they'll ever top the horror episode with the Greenvale reference. Rare display of Aguirro-Sacasa in top form. For a time he was on his A-Game with Sabrina. but S3's shows he's fallen off hard there, too.At this point Jughead is body shown on a slab dead and Skeet Ulrich is confirmed for not returning next season. If truly dead I'm going to retcon the whole series in my mind to where no one really ever liked Jughead mostly cause of his hat.
Episode was kinda good, fairly good resolution to the mystery aside from the scenes that were clearly made just to screw with us, eg all stuff where it was just Archie - Veronica - Betty talking.
Riverdale's new episode is good. Being a slice of life once in a while without weird mystery feels so fresh. Also, people who like FRIENDS most likely wont like this episode though
My favourite song
It is also on netflix, so we can watch it anytime soonOh yeah, this was the musical one. I have it DVR'd, so I might watch it now because my sleep schedule is fucked six ways from Sunday.
If it seemed like a non ending it's because they had to wrap it up a few episodes early because of Covid. Originally they had planned a prom and graduation episode. Also after that, rumors are they will have a five year time jump.
That and the show is called Riverdale so I had a feeling they were going to minimize the college years or completely skip over them.A five-year timeskip? That's...ambitious. But I guess it's kind of mandatory if they want to keep the whole cast together.

I imagine it will be a predictable but entertaining plot line of them reuniting in the town and more shit goes down.
Also I bet start doing Katy Keene crossovers since it's 5 years in the future to boost archieverse ratings across the board.
All of the actors aside from Archie are past college age so it makes sense.A five-year timeskip? That's...ambitious. But I guess it's kind of mandatory if they want to keep the whole cast together.
They're pulling a One Tree Hill. Not a bad idea thoughRiverdale to Have Significant Time Jump Early in Season 5, EP Confirms
