TLW has exactly one scene where the movie comes to life, the RV over the cliff sequence. And even the optics to get to that scene are beyond stupid.TLW actually has some great stuff in it even with the crap sprinkled through it.
Crystal Skull is mostly just average
We had a thread a few months ago where I learned. Blew my mind. I think it's absolutely fantastic. Incredible art design and sets, Jim Carrey at some of his absolute best, tons of laughs.
I like Noah 😢Absolutely, that should not be three. Noah should take it's place.
The slipknot scene saves it
Pretty well sums up what I was going to say about Aronofsky and the seemingly random choice of The Fountain. It's a turkey, but he's had bigger ones.Tbh I really don't like The Fountain (it's basically the most expensive student film ever made), but it's hard to argue Aronfsky hasn't done worse.
I disagree! I think mother is one of the greatest movies ever made and I've seen it a bunch. I never rewatch movies! But I make an exception for that one 🖤
This list sucks.
Spielberg was SHOWING OFF in West Side Story lmao. It ain't fair.

Garbage list, so much of it is just mediocrity rather than outright disasters.
And no list of "terrible movies" should have anything as remotely quality as Death Becomes Her, The Fountain, or heck, even Alien 3 or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
edit: Just noticed Piranha 2 is on there for James Cameron, just shows what a vapid, nothing of a article this is.
Look, I get that Boxcar Bertha, Alien 3, Piranha II are easily the worst films of their respective directors, but they are also early career films from directors that had limited control over the final product. I don't think it's fair pitting them against the likes of Downsizing, Gemini Man, or North which came from estabilished directors.
Yep, it would be like listing any of Francis Ford Coppola's first few movies. Like they just.. don't count.
All the folks in this thread saying The Fountain doesn't belong on this list.
Meanwhile you can kinda read the graphic novel and see the film version is really incomplete due to budget.
I really like The Fountain but it is a deeply flawed film that doesn't achieve what it tries to do and the creators behind it would probably be the first people to admit that.
edit - I wouldn't call it "terrible" though. That's a poor choice of adjective.
Seriously, that and Fableman's.... It's crazy how much control he has, everything is directed so smoothly and beautiful. He's so good that he makes it look easy.

Rolling Stone is a trash newspaper, but I feel like lists are commonly in this type of "format" pretty frequently nowadays.Sphere? Death Becomes Her?
I really like those movies. In no way are they "bad".
