Is there a reason why? I can't imagine it's that expensive, like the PS2 was getting games until 2013. Poor Vita, getting took round back and shot.
I'm kinda hoping there's a way to play PSP and PSVita games in the future (maybe PS5 BC?) all these games in my library that I just can't play anymore and support for the Vita is dead in the west.
My guess is a PSN overhaul is planned for next gen, and they don't want to waste resources on making all the changes apply to the old hardware as well.Is there a reason why? I can't imagine it's that expensive, like the PS2 was getting games until 2013. Poor Vita, getting took round back and shot.
Possible I suppose, makes more sense than them just setting a hard deadline for new releases because they wanna fully kill the system.Maybe they are doing a PSN backend overhaul in prep for PS5 and not having to deal with Vita titles will make it easier?
Weird way to type Soul Sacrifice Delta.Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway were the best games on the Vita. Sony is just desecrating its tombstone now.
Haha.
Hell no..
It had support.
Fixed that for you.
Lol.... I was just about to post this. 🤣🤣🤣
PS2 Remakes don't count or else I'd have picked Odin Sphere: Leifth.. lefth... however you spell that.
Fixed that for you. ;)At this point I think they're doing it out of spite.
Weird way to type Freedom Wars and Gravity Rush.
You know what the Switch Lite and Vita have in common? Deceptive names. The Switch Lite doesn't switch and the Vita doesn't live.
Height: Switch Lite is .2 inches taller.
Length: Switch Lite is 1 inch longer.
Depth: Switch Lite is .5 inches smaller.
Weight: Switch Lite is .13 pounds heavier.
Screen size: Switch Lite's screen is .5 inches bigger.
You people don't deserve the Vita. The Vita didn't fail. The people failed the Vita.
It really do be like that 😔You people don't deserve the Vita. The Vita didn't fail. The people failed the Vita.

It is due to the certification process.Possible I suppose, makes more sense than them just setting a hard deadline for new releases because they wanna fully kill the system.
You are correct, it's a much better system.
The like 15 ERA users who still play on their Vita don't bring in enough money for Sony to continue support when said resources are much better spent on the PS5.
I love this quote. It's beautiful.
