Rumor: Switch about to get its first official pricecut since launch, to be announced Monday (possibly Europe only)

we managed to confirm this in Spain, it's indeed happening on Monday:

Nintendo rebaja el precio oficial de Switch en toda Europa. Nintendo Switch más barata, a unos 270 euros en Francia y menos de 300 en España.

It will probably be closer to 299 than to the rumoured/leaked 270-280 range, though.

This is indeed a price correction to reflect the exchange rate differences from 2017 to 2021. In March 2017, 300$ before taxes was equal to 285€. Now it's equal to 254€, so they've adjusted by cutting 30€ from it.
