A Pro is not a successor console. A Pro is a mid gen upgrade. The 3DS a full on successor. Going by your logic all the PS and Xbox systems are "Pro" versions
They could during a September direct but not at the event, it's more of a family event
I think having a significantly bigger audience to purchase and play their games makes it worth it, otherwise they would just use the latest system, so I don't necessarily "feel bad"

Not for me. double up the power and give me 30fps graphics at 60fps, or 60fps graphics at 120fps.
Switch 2 is a must at this point, because switch is a very old consoles. PS5 Pro isn't really needed imo, unless RDNA4 delivers a big jump in RT and ML.

I think Switch 2 would be the best choice to ensure people don't mistake the new console as a upgrade. If they want to use Switch and a word, then it should be Switch Advance. Switch Pro is to similar to PS4 Pro imo.
I do agree with this. Its not really needed. I think it can give some extra oomph to PSVR 2 games tho.
It's just my opinion, honestly. I don't see Nintendo making an open-sandbox physics game at 60 FPS, let alone making a performance patch for hardware that is capable of doing so.
Of course all your digital downloads will transfer. That would be catastrophic if they didn't.
