I wouldn't put it past them tbh.I mean most players were fine playing on JP servers. Are they really going to IP Lock EU Players from the NA server ?
I'm getting SMT4 flashbacks
edit: they tweeted this
deleted it and changed it to this
By the way, when they say NA, will people from South and Central America be able to play? or are we excluded as well?
Looks like it's excluded. Otherwise, Sega would've said "Central America" and "South America", since it's an online game, there are based on regions.By the way, when they say NA, will people from South and Central America be able to play? or are we excluded as well?
All the more reason y'all just need to learn American.Adding those u's into certain words and adding the metric system is a really time-consuming process.
They never said such a thing for the original PSO, and it could be played if someone paid for your Hunter's License.Looks like it's excluded. Otherwise, Sega would've said "Central America" and "South America", since it's an online game, there are based on regions.
Oh well, I hope they do not leave us out, but it seems like it.Gaming standards usually cover all of the Americas (United States, Canada, Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, South America ).
Online game operators, however, may elect to separate certain regions independently, depending on where they are legally permitted to operate the game. This sometimes turns into splitting off LATAM entirely, or just larger markets, like Brazil.
They'll probably announce accessible regions fully closer to beta/release. NA in terms of online games tend to only include US, CA, MX, and the Caribbean.
gacha games are still releasing in Europe even after the whole thing about lootboxes blew up though, some are only in NA/CA like Magia Record and FGOThinking it's because of the Gacha in PSO2. I would not hold out a lot of hope of it ever coming to Europe if so.
Multiple languages are required for games released in Europe, you know? But why is it so hard to have an EU server or just let this be a Global server.
So disappointed of SEGA right now.
Uh, no they don't. Tons of games just release in english over here, that shouldn't be too hard, considering there should be an english translation with it coming to the US.Multiple languages are required for games released in Europe, you know?
That would be terrible.Highly doubt they bringing the PS4 version to the west. It looks like MS has a deal.
I could live with thatCould be a temporary exclusive like Pubg , but for now it looks like MS is footing some bills. So I dont think there will be a PS4 version at least for the next year.
My reaction, as well. *sigh*
This was my thought as well, it'd be nice if we could get some confirmation thoughThinking it's because of the Gacha in PSO2. I would not hold out a lot of hope of it ever coming to Europe if so.
I wish people stopped saying that. It's the good old "hey you can speak english so just import it" argument.
Most sega games release in english only in europe. Not a problem.Multiple languages are required for games released in Europe, you know?
