What's Randal Orton doing out here!!??
THE CORN SNAKE! THE CORN SNAKE HAS STRUCK! MGM OUT OF NOWHERE!
who all is jumping ship that WWE hasn't let go?Sadly yeah, WWE is rather big to just have one booker running multiple shows a week, so they hire "writers". However, none of them know how to book a fucking competent pro wrestling show. There is a reason people are jumping ship to New Japan the last couple of years.
if anything, it's been the other way around
They just 1 billion in TV deals
They're getting 50 million from Saudi Arabia
They're allowing Hogan back, and letting him speak to wrestlers backstage
They have an award named after a known bigot
They were ready to name a trophy after a pimp
Vince helped cover up a murder
They celebrate the Kliq despite them being absolutely awful people
Stephanie & HHH can't go 5 minutes without making anything about themsleves, and how they're some super wise business person
They had a man help a woman win the first money in the bank
His wife sits on the small business board for Trump
They donated 7 million to trump
There's plenty of shit there to take the company down
There is a lot of shit to be mad about with WWE but the end to that MITB match was frankly a brilliant way to get massive heat and it worked.
SD
It was bad cheap heat and an incredibly dumb way to diminish that moment
Bleacher Report, SB Nation and Forbes.
Cheap heat is dunking on the local sports team. This helped propel Carmella's credibility as a main event player in the Women's division just for being associated with Ellsworth. Using Ellsworth again to get the first pin victory over Asuka was also fantastic. Also, it didn't diminish anything. The fact that they had the match and they were given time for the match is the actual victory for the women here. Finishes in wrestling matches are nothing but plot devices to help move storylines along.
Not anywhere where the company will take a hit. Hypothetically say something happened, they'll just suspend Orton for a few months and he'll be back. Given Randy's schedule he'll be cool with it.
