How older is Milles in this? I dropped the comics after the Doctor Doom/Hydra thing. For anyone interested in a new jump on point for Miles in the comics.
Mile's new book will be releases in two weeks (Dec 12).
The team behind it is
Saladin Ahmed
Javier Garrón
David Curiel
From what I understand, Bendis had an advisory/feedback role in the film from early on, though he didn't have any part in producing or creating it.I'm just glad Bendis has nothing to do with current Miles Morales or this incarnation. Hype for the movie either way.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to it. Just hoping they won't do what they did with Peter when he was around the same age in the Ultimate run lolProbably 17 now If I had to guess unless the new book skips him ahead.
They're making it and Tom Holland is confirmed as Drake (a bit younger than the games) with Bryan Cranston rumoured to play Sully. Sort of a Uncharted prequel if you will that likely fleshes out the beginning of their relationship (and you can bet will get sequels if successful).
lolThis hype. Disney's run of best animated feature wins is gonna come to an end right?

Whoa, that casting! I can definitely see Holland as a young Drake based on Uncharted 4.They're making it and Tom Holland is confirmed as Drake (a bit younger than the games) with Bryan Cranston rumoured to play Sully. God Butcher would be pretty violent for an animated movie. If Spider-Verse is a big success I wonder if Marvel attempts some animated films directed at theaters. It'd be interesting if they actually went all and probably the only way you could properly do something like the God Butcher arc from Thor God of Thunder.
I think so.
Spectacular
I don't see that coming from Disney.Yes. Yes it would.
A story like that would be a pretty solid example of why blockbuster animated films don't need to just be for kids & families.
Yep. Ultimate pipe dream. :(
It's too dark of a story for the MCU too, methinks. Best case scenario is if Marvel somehow revives their direct-to-video/streaming animated movies and they are somehow good and adapt God Butcher/God Bomb.
Or maybe it's a legendary story destined to belong only to the comics.

Lego Batman didn't even get nominated despite it being among the best animated films of last year (Ferdinand and Boss Baby got nominations instead somehow). Never underestimate the academy's ability to be dumb.
If they ignore a 100% rated film, or even a 95% rated one though...
thought it was rather dull myselfLego Batman didn't even get nominated despite it being among the best animated films of last year
But it was better than Ferdinand and Boss Baby.
Haven't watched those so won't comment
I think if Holland got the Prince of Persia treatment he could definitely look and act the part, but I think he's a bit too scrawny for Drake as is. Perfect as a lanky Spider-Man, though! They're making it and Tom Holland is confirmed as Drake (a bit younger than the games) with Bryan Cranston rumoured to play Sully. Sort of a Uncharted prequel if you will that likely fleshes out the beginning of their relationship (and you can bet will get sequels if successful).

I think we can agree that it was a shit year for Western animation.
The premise is "what if all these different spider-persons, who exist in their own seperate continuities in seperate dimensions, were brought together to take on a common enemy?"What is the premise and concept of this movie? Is it related to MCU?

Basically:Multiverse based story. Venom verse (which Sony kinda considers a part of the Tom Holland MCU films but not the MCU as a whole and Marvel considers them not connected at all.
Not canonically related

The movie needed to be what it was after decades of dark and serious Batman. It's arguable one of the better takes on the character. It's impossible to think any hardcore Batman fan not liking it.I think we can agree that it was a shit year for Western animation.
I was pretty disappointed by LEGO Batman despite really liking Lego Movie. It was just everything that people who hate cartoons think cartoons are. Loud, spasmodic, annoying.
Insomniac: Hold my beer.Disney: let's.....just show you how to make a spideman movie
Sony studios: fine.....*Humph*
Sony animation: oh yeah? *cracks knuckles* sit down and learn.
