Man, the TL-50 Heavy Repeater is just so good. So, so good. Worth the 500 kill grind, that's for sure.
I got it from a crate, and I don't like it :p

10 hours play is free on EA Access...Can i complete campaign ?
i don't think I read anywhere that you can get weapons from crates?
The gameplay is totally different. In Battlefront you can't lie down on the ground but you can roll/dodge in all directions wich i think is very cool. Gamespeed is more or less the same, but in Battlefront there are neat troopers as the rocket trooper for example.. i feel Battlefront has more gimmicks going on. Speaking of gunplay for me personally Battlefield 1 has the best and most satisfying gunplay around, Battlefront is good in this regard but not as great as Battlefield 1.How is the gameplay compared to Battlefield One? Better? Easier/harder? More/less varied?
I'm a casual MP player on PC, trying to figure out if I would like BF2.

"I have been talking with my friends at EA the last few days, great guys... very good people"
"after our talks I have decided to mandate protection for their business model so that they can continue to make American video game industry great again!"
"No more fake games media, Reddit viewers and raitings way down!"
Luke, Vader and Chewie are done. Just need to unlock Iden, Leia, and the Emperor, and I can finally throw some credits towards boxes to start raising my class ranks.
The Naboo map when you storm the castle is so fun, one annoying thing so far is a couple hours in I am barely leveling up and skilling up =[
Are you paying for this stuff?
He is saving his credits to unlock all heroes before using them on anything else. The Naboo map when you storm the castle is so fun, one annoying thing so far is a couple hours in I am barely leveling up and skilling up =[

Paying for which? I wouldn't pay for crystals even if I could, I'm just making the most of credit rewards from completing the easy challenges.
you can't pay for credits, where did you hear that from lolPaying for credits to unlock stuff
Edit nevermind, post above answered =]

The final sniper rifle is amazing. I love sniping so much that I always just player sniper in battlefield and now I can do that in battlefront. The downside is DICE usually nerfs something sniper related and it ruins the game for me since that's all I use.
*cough* martini henry *cough*
I'd pay real money to get a cycler rifle ability card to replace infiltration at least. My god, I would pay 20.000 credits for a Martini Henry type rifle in Battlefront.
Really hope they can somehow add the Cycler Rifle from the old game, but now as a regular weapon instead of a starcard.
Your level doesn't really matter it only allows you to craft higher quality cards. Dont buy Trooper crates, buy the cheaper hero crates. Then use the crafting parts you get in each crate to craft cards you want for whatever preferred class you like. Each crate gives yoy enough crafting parts to unlock one base level card.
Believe so, it's working again for me at least. Base ps4
Sorry, I didn't realise that's what that meant.
It's all good no worries!
HDR is royally messed up in this game.
On my Xbox One X, menus go from dim (bad) to bright (good!), and its distracting as all hell.
Plus rampant connection error messages after I complete missions.. my goodness EA.
Looks beautiful in 4K, though.
it had a Rey ability card in it for me yesterday, so I guess it CAN have other stuff. But yes, it's pitiful lolGotta applaud EA Dice for the daily crate. 5 crafting parts and 125 credits is generous, almost too generous.
They patched in increased rewards as a "fix" for NFS, no idea why they just don't go ahead and do it for this game.
I can't decide if I want to play in first or third person. I keep switching and finding pros and cons with both.

There is no benefit in winning, kills don't affect credits, i might as well put a rubber band on the left stick and leave the game on all night in GA and collect the credits in the morning....
Hoth is Walker Assault, though not the same map.Is the Hoth walker assault map back? I haven't seen it...it looks like walker assault was totally changed?
Yeah I have this issue too in the menus and cutscenes. During gameplay its fine. Was hoping they would've fixed it in the patch, but evidently not : (
The 2 main repeat maps(Hoth, Endor) in this I absolutely hate compared to the original.Hoth is Walker Assault, though not the same map.
I miss the old modes and maps from the last game, WA and Drop Zone.
I hope some of these modes and maps find their way back in through free DLC.
Are you still relatively early on in playing the game? The rate of income seems a lot better at first when you're knocking off lots of early easy challenges, but once those dry up it starts feeling slower and slower.I still don't see the issue with this game - I'm getting enough to unlock something every few games so far.
I really dig how they did Endor for GA. Just the set up in general. How the rebels steal an AT AT then attack a base at the end. Very cool. Also if you're playing as the Empire, a woman on the comm goes "I can't believe we're attacking a walker" Lol great stuff.

Is it fine during game play though? Sometimes some of the blurred overlays look awful. I can't imagine they were intended to look that way. Especially the crate type selection on the crate opening screen (I know this isn't technically 'in-game') but it looks like some weird inverted oil effect. Not very Pretty.
In game, I feel like the HDR takes on whatever its last state was. So if during the loading menu it ended as dim, all your in-game HUD will be dimmed too. If you're lucky and the loading screen ended as bright, your hud will be nice and beautiful and so will the game.
It amazes me that this passed CERT in its current state.
I've seen players just chilling at the spawn point, and I'm like :/
I think doing well in rounds affect your overall xp. If I suck, my progress is minuscule. But if I have a great round (by my shitty standards lol), the progress bar to the next level rises quicker (still fn slow though).
Anybody hear anything about adjusting the grind for levels, credits, crafting?
I'm sitting on some credits I'm unwilling to spend until I hear more.
Last thing I want to do is spend the 30k on Luke & Vader the day before EA lowers the price to 5k each or an alternate unlock method.
