So, can someone explain to me why the Minecraft fans are trying to play this down and defend it? The replies to that tweet are very odd.
Ok serious question, Someone at Nintendo is having some fun right? This couldn't possibly have passed all the people that saw it, from the developers, to marketing, etc.

No way in hell Nintendo wont either change the camera or remove the pose altogether. Kind of having a chuckle imagining someone freaking out because they didn't catch this.
The statues and art pieces are authentically replicated, nudity and all.
Funny enough, that's the fake version so you could argue it's a Nintendo original tasteful nude.

No. My son (and I) just learned that it's a goatee after seeing an action figure with a swappable face that shows an open mouth (with teeth). My son was quite blown away by that haha.
