Yeah my buddy and I were talking the other day about the switch and he was astonished to find out the sizes of stuff like Xenoblade and BoTW. I have around 100 games and the largest is something like 22 gb.
It's not new at all, but Skyrim's original size of 3.3 GB ONLY on the 360 blew my mind even back in the day.
Oops. My bad there. Probably confused it with Spyro.N Sane Trilogy is 23.32 GB on PS4, and 5.2 GB on Switch, which is still pretty good compression, mind.
Super Mario 3D World being only 1.6GB is pretty crazy even amongst Nintendo games.
Yep, especially when you consider how bloated their PS3 counterparts often were.the fact that xbox 360 games in general could survive under 10 gigs of disc space was always shocking to me.
The Witcher 3 sitting on ~40GB with both expansions and all free DLC installed is pretty impressive to me with all content it has.
I usually expect games to be like 1GB minimum, but Terraria on Steam uses less than 300MB. I think it might be even less on consoles.
Thankfully you don't have to install WoW from CDs anymore though lol.
