Only physical but a huge drop.

https://www.vg247.com/2017/11/20/st...ront-after-bungled-launch-week/?ref=hvper.com

Sales of EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2 in the UK are down 61 percent compared to the release of Star Wars Battlefront in 2015.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, sales are also down 50 percent when compared to last year's Battlefield 1.

Although the drop is significant, it's worth noting that official UK retail sales figures do not include digital sales, only boxed sales.

However, the bungled launch of Star Wars Battlefront 2 following outrage over loot box pricing and a poorly implemented progression system looks like it may have impacted sales of the blockbuster shooter.

Just one market, but I wonder if it will be a bellwether for other markets.

Good. Fuck off with your hideous business practices EA. Stick your "some people want a way to speed up progression by paying real money" where the sun doesn't shine.

Didn't we have a similar thread for Assassin's Creed and it turned out that the digital sales were making up for the drop in physical?

I played some BF1 over the weekend and the population was pretty healthy. Lots of people commenting that they had no interest in picking up BF2.

All of this is great news, fuck EA for the BS they tried to pull on this one.
